Do it!
They are both great consoles with tons of good titles.

<-- wishes he could afford both

The thing is, I really can't afford both. I can so to speak, but I feel bad after buying it. This thread got my attention, and may help convince me if true.

Damn are they actually dropping the price? I heard it was a hoax.
S**t these things are going to be cheaper than Apex DVD players soon ;)

I know the problem though...I really wish I could afford both...it's a really tough decision :-\

You could do what I'm going to do...Buy the Sega bundle and go to a Babbages or EB and swap the 3 games for Halo or something (possibly a little store credit too).

Better yet:
* Score Halo for $24.99 (& tax) at BB this week
* Trade the others toward Live and MechAssault

I would definitely get in on this deal, but the nearest BB is 145 miles away, meaning that I'd have to leave around 4:30am to get there before it opens :p

It's not a Black Friday deal. It's a regular sale item at $29.99. Use $5 off coupon from a BB Gamer's Gift card to get it down to $24.99

But you are right...145 miles away sucks big time :(

I just checked BB's site and it looks like you can buy it online for $29.99. Not a bad deal :D
