Uh... what's the difference between "dae" and "day?"

The E is more silent in Dae, so you're saying you would pronounce Monday and Mondae the same?

mm, well, you're not supossed to have that aeeeeee sound at the end. It's just a normal "Eh" with no eeeeeeeee that the "Y" adds in there 😛

hmm oh ya. well, i guess Hyun-Deh is even more accurate.

so ya, everyone make a note in front of your monitor.

HYUNDAI is pronounced HYUN-DEH.

Confirmed, Absolute, Correct Pronounciation. HYUNDEH 🙂

IMO,

It was Hyundai itself that promoted the inaccurate pronunciation of HUN-DAY to make it sound like

HONDA.

Absolute correct pronounciation = Dae or Deh. "Deh" for correct pronounciation. "Dae" for a mix between spelling romanization of vowels of the korean/english language and pronounciatoin.
and spelled "Dai" for the absolute romanization of vowels between the languages.

(((put your browser language encoding to korean now)))

it's spelled ??.

Hyun-Dae.

? = H sound
?= yuh sound
? = N sound.

Put it together? ? ?? = ? = HYUN

? = D sound
? = Ah sound
? = short i, or ee sound.

But Ah + ee or i = Aeh sound, well, more like "eh"

Put it together? ? ? ? = ? = DAE, not DIE or Dai, although "Dai" makes sense because it's vowel per vowel direct translation haha.

They use the i since it uses the ? or english equivalent to i. It's weird, everything else romanized to english, the ? vowel is spelled "-ae." Hyundai is among the few spelled this way for some odd reason. It should be really hyundae lol.

A good example is Daewoo. ??. Dae-ooh. Donno where the W comes in though lol. Vowel for vowel spelling, i can see how it can be "dai," but pronounciation becomes wrong.
Nobody cares.

Go troll somewhere else. The OP cared enough obviously.
*jerk off motion*

ROFL
