What does not seem to be recognized is that Moonbeam is like a hologram... you all swat at him without hitting anything.. what you see is an illusion... one that is defined by each of us... and each differently... Moonbeam is a void into which we pour our own venom or syrup... depending on our own need to see or feel something... like a mirror into our soul... we see and we like or we see and we dislike... but, we can't keep from looking... can't keep from commenting... he is us... or the reflection of us.. Moonbeam provides a glimpse into the absurdity of our thoughts... the confirmation of our fears...
The reality we refuse to accept... when we degrade Moonbeam we degrade ourselves... when we uplift Moonbeam we uplift ourselves...
So as you begin to strike out at Moonbeam... duck first... and while in that supine position ask yourself just one question... why am I upset... or why am I not upset... reflect for just a moment... at yourself!

I swat at mosquitoes also. It doesn't mean that much except that they are annoying parasites. He doesn't provide any special insight into anything besides the ravings of someone with emotional problems.

Are you saying you have a degree in psychiatric medicine, etech, or just that you wouldn't know special insight if it bit you in the ass? I almost flipped out a brilliant friend of mine by accusing him of being intelligent, that is till he realized it was me.

Nationalism is an attempt to shield ones feelings on worthlessness behind a commonly respected good. There is nothing wrong with liking your country, the land and its people and even its system. It's when attachment forms that nationalism becomes dangerous. It is when a slight to the country registers unconsciously as a slight to that unconscious self hate, that hate turns to the object making the slight. This preempts a careful and logical evaluation of the claim. A fanatic is un-amenable to improvement because all notions of improvement imply there is something wrong. That is the feeling that cannot be tolerated because it leads to memory of a painful past.

If I were a smarty pants mean sorta person... I'd have responded with: I tell you Moonbeam is a mirror reflecting the image of the viewer and you respond with... essentially "I only see" "... ravings of someone with..." but, I'm not trying to outsmart anyone... how could I with such limited resources.. I'm simply asking .... Is it not possible that in our zeal to respond or defend a position or whatever... we just skim the surface of what another has posted... I think it is... It is normal to be that way cuz some are at work or some are whatever.. My point is ... when we get angry at someone or something... something we see in the stimuli reminds us of something we can relate to in our selves...
Just a thought...

This just in on the photonic wave device:

"Enlightenment is like the moon reflected on the water. The moon does not get
wet, nor is the water broken. Although its light is wide and great, the moon is
reflected even in a puddle an inch wide. The whole moon and the entire sky are
reflected in dewdrops on the grass, or even in one drop of water.

Enlightenment does not divide you, just as the moon does not break the
water. You cannot hinder enlightenment, just as a drop of water does not hinder
the moon in the sky.

The depth of the drop is the height of the moon. Each reflection, however
long or short its duration, manifests the vastness of the dewdrop, and realizes the
limitlessness of the moonlight in the sky."
-------------
Of course that was the sonnetized version for all age groups.

Moonlight is but a pale reflection of the true light.

If you don't understand what Monnbeam is saying, just shut your mouth, cause your foot quickly approaches.
