Actually, I don't care if its protein bars or protein powder.

I don't want it to taste like ******, something decent.. and yeah I want to at least sample one of the brands and then buy it in bulk if its really good.
 
I buy mine from allstarhealth.com. I get ON Gold, double chocolate or something. But they sent me a sample of Nectar Roadside Lemonade and holy crap is it good. It costs like $25 for 2.x pounds, instead of like $17 for 2.x pounds of ON, but it tastes just like lemonade.

DYMATIZE Elite Protein Powder is my favorite, you can get 5 pounds of it on ebay direct from manufacture for like 20 bucks. Shipping charges are reasonable as well. The Rich Chocolate is the BEST protein shake i've ever had. Matter of fact, i'm drinking one right now.
 
Vitaglo.com has EAS for $20.67 for 5 lbs, cheapest I have seen and I've been in the game for a long time.

I get the chocolate that he was talking about, it's pretty incredible. Tastes just like chocolate milk, even better when blended with some peanut butter.

I really like ON's Pro Complex GAINER in Vanilla Custard. Can't vouch for bulknutrition as I've never used it, but bb.com also has decent prices. These days I get it locally though at a place that undercuts bb.com by a decent amount.
 
I bought the one Costco sells, Wellements Premium Pro-Rated in Bavarian Chocolate ($25/6 pounds)....has anyone else tried this? Is it any good? Btw, it;s 27g of Protein a scoop...

Also what makes some brands better than others, besides taste? I mean it's all basically whey protein right?

One more thing, how many scoops (scoop being 27g) should I put in if I am doing some basic weight lifting?

That's what I use. It's the best I have used and a better deal than anything aout there.
