I don't eat protein bars, but I can tell you, simple peanut butter feels very nourishing to my brain. My neurologist once informed me the brain requires a supply of protein more than carbs. So it's not a placebo effect.

Yeah, the people who live forever probably tend to keep that quiet.

I mean, I imagine they would 🤫

I was at a vape shop and it had a TV and it was playing the new Walking Dead, there was a scene where they were stocking up on Protein Bars.

During the pandemic people stocked up on canned beans... and toiletpaper. They later found out they didn't particularly like beans. Dunno how they felt about toiletpaper, but they can get fucked.

I think they should serve protein bars in public schools and prison.

I just got the marshmallow-style Puff bars by Built, they are pretty good if you like a chewy, fluffy texture!

Epic bars are actually pretty good, like soft beef jerky. My only complaint is that they're small & expensive.

I have never bought a protein bar in my life IIRC and possibly never eaten one. Well, I have a dim memory of eating some kind of chewy seemingly homogeneous tan wrapped bar obviously semi-permeated with sugar, it might have been a so-called protein bar. You call that food???? I'd sooner eat a trail mix of seeds, nuts, raisins, chopped dried apricots, toasted oats (I used to make those from scratch).

There are a few good ones out there. I get this one at my local gas station:

In the movie version of 'Ready Player One' they had drones that delivered pizza, but that wasn't in the book.

Food was only mentioned one time in the book and it was protein bars.
