Update: abracadabra1 could not wait and is now cracking on a celeron 366. He will install the client in a duron 980 soon. Stay tuned. 🙂

Update: PG has just installed the service version on a P100, a P133 and a Celeron 333. He also has access to 15-20 machines of similar configurations.

About one fifth of the people I've asked were already doing rc5 or SETI. From the rest, I've had 3 rejections so far. About 70 people have joined, some with multiple machines and about 30 have yet to respond. I almost asked you but I noticed your sig at the last minute. 😉
 
Update: ICSVortex just joined with a duron 700@1100MHz. 1.1GHz of cracking goodness.

I don't want to put any more weight on our Grand Laminator of Borg, but as I understood all the recent assimilations were done from OT posters?

You know there are a lot of people not posting there, especially non-native english speaking members (it's not easy arguing in a foreign language, try it, you'll see). Anyway, don't you think it's worth considering the posters of other forums as an unused assimilation source?

I am concentrating on OT at the moment because I am better known there and I can only send so many private messages each day (I do send them one at a time, each modified for the candidate for assimilation. That takes time.). I will move to GH maybe next week, maybe the week after that. 😉

Might I suggest that some of Dennil's &quot;borglets&quot; (humor) could perhaps emulate his performance and techniques in the other forums thus effectively &quot;cloning&quot; his quantum theory of asslamination? 🙂

By doing this, you take an already successful technique, and multiply it many-fold. Ala AMWAY! - ok, so that's an &quot;icky&quot; example - but the idea DOES work!

Yes that's a good idea, but it needs to be coordinated through our collective mind so that the same poor member doesn't get several different pm's saying the same thing (that would actually be spamming wouldn't it?).
