Bakwetu,

We'll look into that early next week. I'm moving Friday and my mind is working on autopilot right now. But rest assured, I'll let you guys sharpen your teeth on the other forums. I think that the easiest would be to divide by letter at the beginning of usernames. I'll supply you with a list of who I contacted so far, then. ;)

In the meantime, PG added two more computers today:

Celeron 500MHz
Celeron 566 MHz.

Thanks to all. Woooooooooooooooooooooo Mooooooooooooooooooooo!!! :)

Dennis you are THE man. Now it will be interesting to see how long the assimilations crack. Hopefully we'll get most of them hooked on it.

Laminate on!!

I'm willing do help out anyway I can, but I'm not shure I'm the right man for the job. I have only been cracking for a quople of days and frankly can't be of much help to anybody asking questions about rc5 (yet). The best thing would be if the most rc5-elitish members (whether or not they really are Elite doesn't matter, but naturally they should be Borgs ;)) could join in the coordinated effort.

Bakwetu,

Don't worry,

I'll simply keep on adding a few members each day and it will help in the long run, particularly if some of these people can assimilate outside of Anandtech.

In the meantime, let's all welcome Schola and his Athlon 600 to our group. His contribution is much appreciated.

Welcome to Team Anandtech. :)

Now I must go back to sleep. ;)

I'm sorry SSP but, frankly, I have no idea what you're talking about!

oK, in D.net stats, it shows how many people were actively cracking for TA (and other teams). I think we had 655 members active the last time I checked (i think more signed on). I'm just saying if all these people have their own account, we would have passed 700 members (something Dan was trying to get to, or was it Engineer...). :)

Yowza! Just got this reply from cablegod. :)

"OK,in 5 minutes, I will have a PIII 700 running it
and a dual 866 PIII running it

In 4.5 hours my PIII@960 will be running it."

Welcome to Team Anandtech. Feel the love! :)

I've been leaving my PII 400 work computer on at night. This morning Zone Alarm had a little popup asking if I wanted to let dnetc.exe connect to the net. GRRRR.:disgust: I hope I didn't loose too much cracking time. But how often will my computer dump results? I installed the hidden client for people with a 24/7 net connection, and I thought I installed it more than 24 hrs ago. I'm just curious.

Not sure. Ask Russ. You can manually update your buffers once a day if you want. You probably did not lose any cracking. It probably only wanted to flush what it had done. I doubt that your buffer-in was empty.

I use the dialup version. It updates every time I connect and when it finishes a packet. No worries. :)

Update:

Narse77 joins The Collective with a P3 700@933 MHz. Raptor 13 brings a P3 500MHz to our cause.

Welcome to these two fine additions (addictions? ;)) to the BORG.

Can someone email Russ to add these to my herd? I have no email access at the moment (damn move, posting from neighbour's HP, ack).
