I already stated below what to do: be polite, be positive, be clear, stress that this will not affect their computing experience in any negative way, be user-friendly and show the candidate that his/her input is important and much valued.

Hey Dennilfloss, can you upgrade my PC specs to 1.1GHz? I might be trying a higher speed pretty soon, but that's gonna be the minimum unless it turns out to be unstable. Been running RC5 for a couple of hours and playing Q3 for a while so it seems pretty stable to me.
