man, i have my duron 650 oc to 1000 (stable)...but my roomie's comp (a 650t-bird) still goes faster. I'm gonna buy a t-bird as soon as newegg's prices drop...thanx for the post.

nice deal. i should have gotten in on this yesterday when i saw it.

note: you might want to change the thread title to reflect the new price.

AMD might be looking to stop making the 900GHz processor soon, which might explain the new price cuts.

i hope they start making 900Ghz chips. hahahahaa...that will be the day

if anyone has pointed out that newegg.com has these for $72 plus $10 shipping, sorry for the double post.

I mention this, not to rain on this post, but, because someone mentioned that the original price is now considerably higher.

Damn these deals....i'm gettting all broke....
POckets are emptying and money in the bank account is getting all low...
should ask my girlfriend for more money....hehehe
Peace out!!

Highest people have gotten the Thunderbird to is around 1.5Ghz, but it all depends on the luck of the draw with the chip. Some are more overclockable than others.

You can do a LOT more than 1060 with a 1GHz T-bird if you got a decent chip. Try higher. 1.33GHz is relatively common if you get one with the AXIA stepping.
