Price change, not hot: Panaflo 80mm case fan - $6.99 @ Case-Mod.com

I just wanted to add that I had a minor problem with my Case-Mod order (got 12 of the Panaflos and some other stuff, but it was shipped to the wrong address, had to be returned to sender and sent again) and their customer service was fast and helpful. I'd definitely recommend this company to the AT community. Oh, and I've tested all 12 fans, none of them have the previously mentioned clicking problem.

Anyone with the 3 pin tail: can these be monitored via hardware when you have 3 pins? Like can you see the RPMs? If so, I'm springing for the 15c tails, but from what I'm reading on the site, it seems they simply give you a 2 pin to 3 pin adapter so the 3rd wire won't be connected to the mobo.

As with most of the Panaflo I don't think you can monitor these fans. The reason to get the 3 pin tails is that you can connect them to the fan headers on the motherboard that way. And the tails I got were not just a 2 pin to 3 pin adapter, they connect directly to the fan.

unfortunately these fans don't have the hardware to do it. the 3rd pin won't make a difference.

ANyone using the h1s?

I'm about to buy some of those h1s, IF you run em at 14v what do you think the sound will be like on em.
They are rated for 14-24v

A 24V H1 @ 14V should be pretty close to same as a 12V L1... really not worth the bother to rig up the 14V power source.
