Just a quick FYI...they also carry the Vantec Stealth fan for $5.99.

Shipping is quite steep if you buy one, but you should purchase several whenever you find the price under $5 shipped. I purchase several dozen at a time and I always find myself short wishing I bought another dozen. You can always find uses for the extra fans. An example is your sister's airplane under her desk. A quick fan change and for $5 you have made her happy. Unless you are a total nerd you will have friends. Change their fans and and your friends will be grateful.

Anybody have any idea how long they are going to run this fan at this price?

Actually Bestbyte.net is the same price, but shipping is a little cheaper.

Have any of you used both Panaflo and Vantec Stealth? I've only used the Stealth, and wasn't too thrilled with the noise from it. I'm either super sensitive, or the Stealths just don't cut it for silent computing.

They don't include the 3 pin tails anymore, but they're only 15 cents. Alternatively you could always cut the nub off the 2 pin connector that's closest to the red wire and plug the weird 2 pin connector into your motherboard.

I'd be interested in some input about that too, and no, I don't think you're super sensitive. I bought a few of those Vantec Stealth fans last year. First and last Vantec product I'll ever buy. Any company that has the nerve to call these fans "stealth" isn't getting any more of my business.

If you read the cooling forum, the noise level of the vantec fans seem to be overexaggerated. People that have used both have said the panaflo is quieter. Note however that some people have had clicking problems with the batch of fans from case-mod.

with flexo, heatshrink, it will look like this. I personally would just buy those Flexo + heashring from SVC since they are easy to do. Just need scissors, hair dryinger, lighter... =).

I prefer Silencers myself, but these are great for the price and definitely produce more airflow. The Silencers however are completely noiseless, whereas I can hear a slight whir from these if I stick my ear up to em.

Great price tho - if I didn't already have like 5 of these lying around, I'd pick up more!

Their service is nice.

I ordered 6. One of them has a broken blade. Send a email, got the replacement on the way.

Pothead, I bought some the last time they had the deal in July. I didn't have any problems with them. But I agree with you about the stealth fan's rating being higher than it really is.

Will those H1A's work since they're 24 volts??
