i gave it a try but im too used to photoshop; i used it throughout highschool

Paint.NET is fairly similar to Photoshop. Doesn't have as much functionality but for basic photo manipulation, it's useful. I've been using it more often than PS because it loads fast and works well when all I need is an image resize or something.
