Heh, people still don't get it with Trump.

He's a populist.

Frank Luntz did a "mindfuck" experiment, subjecting 29 Trump or ex-Trump supporters to all kinds of negative input on Trump. This included a compilation of Trump Gaffes, attack ads including one by a retired Air Force Colonel, and negative media headlines.

This was the result :

https://www.washingtonpost.com/poli...e9edf8-9f44-11e5-a3c5-c77f2cc5a43c_story.html

Seems to me Luntz tapped into what was, is and forever will be that reflex nerve ending, that synaptic firing trigger that compels a CBD afflicted hard core mainlining Palin/Beck loving conservative that relies on their state of denial to maintain what they consider to be the reality that they wish to exist in.

Trump represents to them a world that they perceive is slipping from their grasp, a world in which they are losing control of. As such, the more you attack that world (Trump) the more they are going to try to defend it, no matter what damning evidence is laid at their feet that proves their world does not exist, or no longer exists.

Logic and common sense has no place in their world if it means having to give up what is real to them. Having to give up the delusion is akin to deciding to shut off the artificial respirator that keeps them alive.

They see Trump as their only hope for survival in a world that, as they see it, has gone mad.

They're the sane ones and everyone else is out to get them, as it were.

I don't see Bush coming back based on what I see in this chart.

lol! Some of the miscalculations in this thread are outright laughable and getting funnier by the minute. So many people are kicking and screaming about their politics possibly becoming obsolete. I'm just hoping upon hitting water that they at least remain buoyant. lol

It's the old truism - it doesn't matter how much you spend on your Bush - if it stinks, no one wants a piece of it.

This was posted almost a year ago, and most of the votes were cast then. He may have had a 14% chance back then, before our ridiculous two year long election race had started.

A stinky bush getting pummeled by an oddly colored dildo. Yuck.

Actually, I take that back. After the collective crying they did about moderators asking questions instead of softball questions, they're all pussies.

So jeb! Just called for a temporary ban on Muslim immigration to make sure terrorists aren't embedded.

This shit is just too fucking funny. Jeb has come unhinged.

I think what's funny is watching people kneejerk about this to begin with.

Muslims who volunteer to go get shot at, and who by action allow American operators to stay alive, those guys can barely get in the country! And that's withthe guys they served with working on their behalf stateside! The bureaucracy we already have in place for this kind of thing barely works at all - to listen to people lose their shit over this, to act like we just have consulate workers handing out free Get-To-America passes right next to the actual battlefield - that's funny. The few avenues that aren't hopelessly obstructed by mountains of paperwork and waiting periods happen to have a number of safety protocols and measures that are quite reasonable.

Just another sideshow helping the usual suspects from having to address real issues (not referring to ISIS in general here). That part I don't find as funny. Not laughin Nicolas.

A perfect example of how spending a lot of money does not always translate into political popularity with potential voters.

It doesn't matter though. Though the face the elite chose to act as their mouth piece might change, in the end the core agenda will remain the same regardless.

This just in..

Jeb! Promises to Leave You Alone for Two Weeks for Just $25

The holiday season is a time to take a break from life’s dreary annoyances, so you can spend it with the people that you actually love and enjoy. Which is to say, the holiday season is not a time for Jeb. Jeb knows this. And he’s willing to leave you alone, too—for one low, easy payment of $25.

Earlier today, Jeb gave his email list the gift of extortion by promising to stop contacting them for the rest of the year for just a little bit of cash

Haha, that's hilarious! What kind of idiot does he have in charge of his campaign?

No question, but even if (for example) Sanders wins it all nothing much will get done without a Congress he can at least talk to. Even then, this system of government we love so much was literally designed to be impossible to wield, so don't expect much.

There are things Bernie could do with executive orders, even if the legislative branch is worthless.

Also, you are forgetting that the next president will likely get to pick several supreme court justices. This could very well decide America's future, and I sure as hell don't trust Shillary Clinton to make the right decision for the people.

There is also a chance, albeit small, that Bernie actually does successfully create a political revolution that carries over to 2018. This could potentially enable a cleaning of the house, pun intended, within the legislative branch.

Getting things done with executive orders isn't really getting things done, it's not right and it doesn't last. Picking SC justices is a big deal, but Dubya picked several and we've still had a bunch of rulings lately that have pissed off his core demographics, so it's no guarantee. As for the other thing, politicians don't create political revolutions, they ride them. Sometimes they nurture them too, but as long as half the country wants the other half to fuck off and die no politician will get anything really important done right.

IMO the best thing for America would be Trump getting the nomination, causing everyone left of him to rush to the polls so Clinton gets the White House instead of him. Trump is the true Republican that hardline conservatives have all been praying for; him losing to (in their minds) his antithesis might finally shock them into recognizing that they can't get what they want just by being loud and stubborn. If so, this toxic status quo that we've all accepted for the past twenty-some years might finally begin to pass.

I think a lot of liberals and moderates would love to see Sanders win it all, and I think I would too, but Clinton is seen as the surer bet and that's who people will go to when the opposition is fielding people like Trump.

I always thought Jeb was the smarter and more responsible Bush compared to his brother that was the "golden boy" to take over from the father.

I am totally shocked at how Jeb has handled this election. Almost speechless now.

Guy think about it for a second, the upstart idiot Dubya can always brag that he is an ex President and will go down in the history books. Jeb is TOTAL disappointment!

Quoting for reference that you actually did say this.

Eat your own shit you racist cravenly caitiff.

What are you talking about. Since day one, the GOP voters have been upset about having a Black president with a muslim sounding name.

They want a white anglo male president back at the seat. You can quote this as well. The truth hurts doesn't it.

So do you care if a president is black or not?

They will not rush to the polls for Hillary, there is an enthusiasm gap with Hillary so not as many people will show up to the polls. Not only that but the others will assume the next guy is voting for Hillary because everyone assumed Hillary is a sure fire win against the GOP.

This is where you end up with the surprise GOP win. There is not too much enthusiasm for Hillary amongst voters with the exception of a core group foaming at the mouth for her.

Ohh shut up you fucking moron. The Constitution says the President is supposed to uphold the laws. That means that Mexicans stay the fuck on their side of the border. Like the Dems care about black people. They'd prefer them to be unemployed, knocked up, and on drugs. That way they can hand them welfare, add more kids to the dole, and create help programs while soliciting votes the hole way. LGBTs are a useful tool to subjugate the "patriarchy" and pussify the country to get them to depend on the Dems 100%.

Now go buy some Hotpockets with your EBT card and have your mom cook them for you.

How's that for hyperbole, bitch.

trumplestiltskin supporter, personified.

BTW Establishment Republicans want Illegal immigration so they can work the meat packing plants etc..

They make a lot of noise regarding Illegal immigration to keep the sheep believing but its all noise, they do not want to get rid of their cheap labor.
