just because it's an app doesn't mean you don't have to pick the numbers. Not the same thing as play one set of numbers for ten draws.

Crazy me but if I'm going to bother buying a lottery ticket at all (unlikely in the extreme) I want a physical ticket with my numbers printed on it.

Have to admit I did "cut loose the purse-strings" and drop $3 on ONE ticket.

Retirement here I come! :p

I've only recently started to understand quantum mechanics...and I like it. 👍

Too bad it's a bunch of bullshit. ;)

There is a video on YouTube that says that the moon doesn't exist until its viewed because of quantum. Makes no sense.

When you hear the term "overthinking it" this is the exact sort of thing folks are talking about.

Hate to break it to all of you "big thinkers" out there, but human beings existing or not has exactly zero bearing on a tree falling in the woods making noise. (talk about delusions of grandeur!)

Huh? I use jackpocket, you just mash your naveldigger on the game you want to play, then hit $2 quick pick, $20 quick pick, etc. No typing of numbers required. Hypothetically, unless jackpocket restricted me, I could just sit there doing it over and over a million times between now and whatever the next drawing was. You can also specify the numbers, but now you're just talking about programming. A decent script could be thrown together that could rip through every number in a few minutes, if the app permitted it.

NOTHING is preventing this far as I know .... hence my preferring to get a paper ticket if I bother at all.

Ackshewelly... you might be wrong. High probability that events don't actually occur in a fixed state until observed. I have thoughts as to why, but I'd rather not taint the pool first.

I do however take serious issue with any "scientific" theory that concludes (essentially) that "human perception" is a requirement to make an object "real".

In fact I find that entire idea laughable.

Quick pick doesn't give you the full coverage required to cover all possible combination.

I will say though, this kind of thinking has helped with moving rendering in gaming forward quite a bit.

Rendering stuff that is not visible is a waste of resources.

The new PSVR2 coming out next year is also doing eye tracking and is rendering stuff outside of where you are looking with less quality than what you are focusing on, to save cycles.

(I'm guessing there are current VR tech on PC already doing this)
