Nasty. Keep that shit north of the border .
It is fried though! It is delicious. Americans are just too obsessed with frying things.
It ruins it, precious!Im going with vinegar on those chips rather than cheese and gravy. I'm sure it's tasty, but damn, i wanna wake up the next morning.
Malt vinegar is great, but I'll always go first to a vinegary hot sauce like Frank's first. Buckets of it.
Most places have an English pub style restauarant...We have Italian, Greek and a number of various Asian and other international specialty restaurants, why not British/English?
My French Canadian friend puts ketchup on everything, he even puts it on Mexican food so we started calling it Canadian hot sauce. Of course he’s crazy about poutine too, it’s not too hard to find poutine around here but they always add something like pulled pork or brisket so it’s not really “authentic”.I was all on board for that then...
"Many people use ketchup as a condiment, though the tourtière is also often eaten with maple syrup or molasses..."
You people shouldnt be trusted with pastry!
as long as it tastes good, who cares if it's authentic or not?My French Canadian friend puts ketchup on everything, he even puts it on Mexican food so we started calling it Canadian hot sauce.
