I am planning to attend the NJ (the very last) show on July 21.

I will have trouble taking a lot of time off from work it being a Thursday.

So my question is, what is the absolute latest I can walk in to the show to pick up the bundle & also have the chance at the prizes/giveaways?

Any ideas? Anyone? Pleaase? Pretty please?

not positive but would venture 530pm as @ 6ish is when meal break/bundle time takes place

I spent yesterday building my server.

Bundle pic: http://www.ihostphotos.com/show.php?id=65956

Specs are:
Server bundle, 2x512 corsair (may add 2x512 later for numa), 36 gb maxtor atlas 15k II (in drive bay cooler), pci fx5200 (gag me, but better than onboard), 24 bit sb live, adaptec u160 controller card.

And now for the pics of the pc!

All I can say is thank God for all the guys who preordered and flooded amd to the point where they sold out cause I just went to the one in Houston and it was actually pleasant, plenty of seats and plenty of food. The rep's actual words were "if you did not get a chance to preorder, you will recieve an email with a purchase code in the first week of July to order the bundle" oh and he also only said that they have secured the desktop bundles and not the server bundles jst yet.

Thanks for the great info Teyanhung! When they say "secured the desktop bundles" do they mean for the upcoming shows for people to preorder? Or for poeple to attend the show first and then order it. Anything about shipping charges? How do they get your email? By registering on www.amd.com/techtour? Or when you actually attend, they will have record of your attendance?

Thanks again for the info. 🙂

Ok crew here is a couple of photos from the Houston show. I was able to snag the MSI micro-atx board SWEET... For those that did not order a bundle they have secured the desk top bundle and they will notify so that you may purchase it. They have not yet secured extra server bundles but they will notify you if they do and let you purchase one.... They will use your e-mail address off the card that you turn in at the end of the show.

I'll be attending the Burbank show. I am gunna wear my Athlon 64 "Power Me Up" shirt that I got with the bundle last year (the Asus Socket 754 & 3200+ deal for $179 that came with FarCry).

See you there!

WOOT!

It is showing available, but quantity of 1 exceeds available ????????????

Well I guess the server was busy. Tried again and got thur and placed my order. Finally !!!!!

Thanks for the heads-up. I've been checking that site everyday...forgot to do it today. I got my order in and now all I have to do is pick it up on Monday in Irvine...Yeah.

"See you there. I'll be looking for you! J/k... Did you already pre-order? "

Of course, that last bundle deal sold out in minutes so I knew I had to act fast. If you hesitate in the game of thrift shopping, you lose.

does anyone know what core the 3200 is? also, all the parts are retail correct?

Have you READ this thread at all? If not go read the one at FW, I am sure the word "venice" and retail and OEM are spread throughout.

Hello All! 1st post!

thanks for the headsup. I just bought the desktop bundle and i dont see any server bundle for sunnyvale.

Why should I do the work for you when all you have to do is click the mouse a few times and read? Are you really that lazy? We have these threads so you can look back and see what people have said, that is the whole Idea of keeping it in ONE thread...

So sorda like my favorite saying.. RTFM....

I hope you can figure this one out.. RTFT!

So please, just read the *(@%^ thread! I shouldn't have to re-post what has already been said MULTIPLE times. I did drop major hints though, all 3 words I used are parts of the bundles, :-D

Desktop bundle is as follows

1. Windos XP 64 bit OEM NFRS
2. AMD ADA3200DAABP retail box (VENICE) LBBLE 0521APFW
3.ASUS A8N-E retail box

What I purchased. Maybe someone can add the server bundle.

OOS according to the bundle ordering site... They're "working with distributors" to try to get more.

It worked for me when I clicked the link in the "registration confirmation" email they sent me a while ago.

AMD Exec: Great job men.
AMD Exec Assistant: Ah, it was nothing.
AMD Exec: Another crisis averted.
AMD Exec Assistant: Yes, sir. We got some more of those heavily discounted bundles we're taking a loss on out to people who are not only not loyal to AMD, but who will probably be reselling these and undercutting our valued resellers.
AMD Exec: Yup. That's what we're here for.
AMD Exec Assistant: Keeping the deal seekers who, if they weren't at our System Builder Tech Tour would be rummaging through clearance bins and haggling with 60 year old vendors at flea markets, happy?
AMD Exec: Exactly! That...and giving them free food they're only going to complain about. Oh, by the way, fire 200 people from Plant 47. We'll send their families each a server bundle as consolation.
