No to Newsom and Shapiro. Yes to someone with a clear vision of her/his own and unafraid of going against the managerial class consensus, especially the Neocons'.

The love I have for my fellow (wo)man. Note that those that wish harm on the innocent are not my fellow (wo)men.
OK, not ready to answer. My question was where the love comes from, not whom you feel deserve it. Compare forgive them to I will judge. Why one and not the other?

So many questions people never ask themselves…………

A lot of people like to have leaders scare them but then tell them there is a simple solution. Its kind of weird.
I have stressed over and over again the paradoxical nature of truth, miraculous understanding of which ends the paradox completely by an insight into the nature of duality and a delusion created by thinking language and imagination tied to negative experiences before we were able to protect ourselves with reason.

Think of how easy that trick would be if people were in a state of self hate and terrified of knowing so because it would bring up the memory of experiences of having your natural love of self shattered by being put down as children. Just tell them world is out to get you but I will give you the love you lost long ago. You may act rotten because you want revenge but you’re really beautiful and I will help you get it.

This is my explanation.

I was under the impression that the Trump voters came out in droves and the Democrat voters remained fairly similar. But it looks like I'm off.

Am I reading this right? It looks like Trump received a very slightly higher number of votes as last election, but Harris got 10 MILLION fewer votes than Biden? How does a party just lose more than 10% of its vote in a single election cycle?

I'm curious what percentage of the popular vote is in. Are there still outstanding votes being counted?

voters motivated to vote Trump out in 2020 likely due to COVID

voters not motivated to vote Harris in 2024 due to a # of reasons

Looks like the total vote count is going to be pretty close to 2020 once everything gets counted.

California is still only reporting like 72%.

Focus on income inequality. Republicans who always give tax cuts to the rich and corporations have not done anything to primarily benefit the working class. Name one thing.

Make a baseline of all the economic indicators now to remind people in the future when Trump fucks things up.

Are you kidding me??

The superdelegates screwed Bernie and Warren in 2016 and 2020.
wtf are you going on about? Democratic primary voters picked Clinton by 13 points more than Bernie. She would have won even if superdelegates were not a thing.

What is Shapiro’s baggage?

Damn you're probably right.

Does she have a male cousin in politics?

My answer would be to get rid of the Democratic party and replace it with a real democratic party. It was Democrats that kept Sanders from wining. But it won't happen because of media brainwashing of the left and the deplorables on the left buying it.

There are candidates who can meet the basic requirements so as not to spook white pseudo-liberals, sure. Ones with national name recognition that won't also instantly spook actual liberals and leftists?

Guess we'll find out.

*Edit*
I think that basic requirement list is only a requirement for classic politicians, i.e. elected officials/members/functionaries of a major party. I think that someone that is a total outsider might get a pass from those requirements.

Hmmm.... what about Ronald Prescott Reagan? The left son of Reagan.

No one was excited about harris. I'm a hardcore democrat and at best felt "meh" about Harris/Walz. Then they ran a lousy campaign targetting people who were never going to vote for them.

I'd say from the posts of some Kamala voting men here, we ain't gonna get the help we need from men in 2028. That's the one thing I think we can count on.

If I had to guess right now, Beshear/Moore.

I like Pete, but I have reservations about how ready the country is to vote for him. Same issue (lesser known though) for Polis.

I think Newsom would be good, but he's an easy target for "coastal elite/lib" attacks. I'd rather not give the GQP that obvious of a target.

Definitely not if you run another woman!

FFS look at Hochul and the job she's doing!

I have a hard time seeing you win in the future, sorry.

It's like this: You know how the perception is that Trump is better with the economy right?
Why is that? Lies. Even just him running, he will publicly claim that something is a reaction to him winning the upcoming election.
He is just hammering out lies and with the propaganda outlets available to him he is able to change public perception at large.
Trump commands an additional 20m voters that is forever trumpers.

Dems lost this one cause people didnt turn up like they did 2020.

How do you motivate the democratic base to turn up in force like they do for Trump on the other side? You cant lie to them like he does, your base wont stand for it.
I dont see what tools you have available to you that can hammer out that 20m extra people consistently like he can.

And a trifecta? They gonna suppress the vote so hard now, you're never coming back.

Doom and gloom.

Or the actual truth!

The only vote they can't supress is the white vote.. but the dems seem hell bent on fighting against them rather than actually giving them what they want.
