This will never happen as the RW media ecosystem has built a cocoon around them. One of two things will happen:

1). Dems get the blame

2). Or they will flat out deny that it's even happening

And in either case, it will work and voters will vote for them.

Obama broke through because he went against establishment.

Bernie almost broke through but the establishment tipped the scales.

I think we have to realize the dems are not innocent and don't want outsiders.. even though the public wants them.

The superdelegates in the primary process are proof of this.. and it's interesting.. how the Republicans always seem to have a feel for the nation while the Dems don't.. because of this appealing to superdelegates bullshit!

Get rid of them.. have an actual primary and let the voters not establishment decide!

Isn't that what happened in 2016 and 2020?

Are you kidding me??

The superdelegates screwed Bernie and Warren in 2016 and 2020.

There was absolutely no way Biden would have won the primary in 2020 if not for Clyburn tipping the scales in SC primary.

Now we can thank him for that in the sense he knew what could beat Trump or we can say fuck him for tipping the scales because we might have gotten Sanders/ Warren.

In my opinion, I think a Roy Cooper - Andy Beashear 2028 (Cooper Beashear 2028) might be just what Democrats need to win 2028. Democrat Governors from red states.

What makes you think there's going to be a "2028" election?

I've said it before, and I meant it. Donald Trump will be the last President of the United States. He'll suspend the Constitution, and declare himself a God/King.

He's led an insurrection and he's become president again.. that's the biggest proof the constitution is toilet paper!

In an alternate universe, Bernie is finishing up his second term, and we never got Trump. Hillary, the mainstream media and the establishment gave us Trump.

Maybe the Bernie Bros should have been respected in 2016!

I voted for Bernie in the primaries. He lost. There was no disrespect, he simply lost. Quite frankly, that the Dems even let Bernie on their primary ballot more than respectful as he wasn't even a party member.

Probably because they've been convinced it's what they deserve. They've certainly been convinced that they shouldn't trust something better than that. Medicine is the enemy. Experts are not to be trusted. You don't deserve a functioning government.
Isn’t that what self hate is? And aren't they blaming liberals rather than themselves for it. Don’t I hate them because they are making me feel the same, that their very existence is the source of why I’m not having what I deserve, because I don’t deserve it either.

Look at how what is felt inwardly but unconsciously, and how that expresses outwardly contain the paradox of guilt and blame.

Because illegal Hatian immigrants are eating their cats and dogs and boys are participating in girls sports and prison inmates are getting sex changes every week depending on how masculine or feminine they feel that day.
Why do they want to be delusional? I make the assumption here that some motivation is required to become that far gone.

Stuff like this doesn't help. Might have been a rogue actor, might have been told to do this by leadership. Who knows. But it's super damaging to the Dems image and public trust, if any even exists.

Like who is even vetting some of these people? The Dems are just so fucking bad at everything right now.

What does the Democratic party have to do with obviously, out of control individuals that have been delt with. Trump did this very thing during his admin AS POLICY.

Go find another party to beat up on since that seems to be the only thing you know how to do here.

I wonder if whoever it was took it on themselves to advise that, out of concern for the safety of FEMA employees, because they were alarmed by stories like this

“FEMA has advised all federal responders Rutherford County, NC, to stand down and evacuate the county immediately,” the official said.

FEMA’s message warned that National Guard troops “had come across x2 trucks of armed militia saying they were out hunting FEMA.”

I usually don't bother much with your posts moon, that is entirely possible.

Unfortunately the miserable won't be dealing with dreams, they'll be dealing with economic collapse and disenfranchisement the likes we've probably never seen. Good to see you're concerned about the important stuff, as usual.

You've confused the role of Greek chorus with that of a healer, so it's no wonder you're concerned with useless perspectives, you started out with one. Just saying.
I have said since I started posting here that truth is something people don’t know, don’t want to know and don’t want to know they don’t want to know. Now you tell me with, I think a measure of contempt, you have no interest in what I say as if the statement of it should impart a sting. Like you the unfortunate and the miserable don’t much bother with my posts either. Never mind chorus or healer, why would you bother with me? You know the important stuff and I have no idea.

Well, for me at least, I'm not likely to hate someone for how I feel since they can't be the cause of it, my feelings are my own. I can hate them for what they are doing, or plan on doing to others though.

I hate the politicians who want what the Republican party has stated they want, and I get the constituents who vote, knowing that information. I don't hate the ignorant, I just tire of them.

Of course you can hate them but the job is to stop them. How will hate help with stopping them from harming others? Do you believe they think they are evil or are they the disaster caused by good intentions? I've heard Jesus said, 'Father, forgive them for they know not what they do', as he died on the cross. Do you think they know what they are doing? You can hate their actions but how can you hate people who don't know what they are doing? We weren't born in a state of denial. We had to first acquire that need. How did it happen? Were they not somehow robbed of self respect?

And what do you do about this? There's an answer for it: regulations, but every time it's tried it gets shit on by Republicans and pulls more votes to the right!
Were we not destroyed by the conformism imposed by our parents and theirs. Do you believe that Stockholm Syndrome doesn't harbor massive repressed hatred for rules?

God Emperor has a nicer ring to it.

I'll go ahead and make my prediction now. In 2028 Trump won't run for president. In January 2029 he will hand over power to whoever won the election. I'm confident enough to place a small wager on it if you're interested, say $2k?

Hate doesn't help with stopping them, but it's pretty good at empowering people and spurring them into action. See: Republicans.

As for evil, depends on the person. Some are just straight fucking bad people. I don't really ascribe to good vs evil but they sure as hell want to hurt people. Most of it probably goes back to trauma rooted in childhood/generational trauma but at a certain point I have to say 'yeah, you and everyone else. You don't get to kill brown people though'.

Maybe I'm just tired, maybe it's become more obvious to me that there's less reasons that really matter, less tragic back stories I'm willing to entertain, less shit I'm willing to give to every little king on a little hill that thinks it's his right to set children on fire.

I've been one of the biggest proponents for a true mental health revolution in this country but to be frank, we're not even going to survive the incoming apocalypse we created, much less improve ourselves and our society between now and then. We're likely to see gridlock between 'kill the darkies and make women property again' and 'why don't we try not killing each other for a bit' for another 10 elections, and there we'll be.

He'll try to hand over the throne to Don Jr.

I'll take that bet.

All I am saying is that the only misery in the world you have any hope of resolving is your own and that doing so changes everything. You are not driven by a desire to see justice in the world without reason. Justice is another word for love. Where is that love coming from?

The love I have for my fellow (wo)man. Note that those that wish harm on the innocent are not my fellow (wo)men.

I was under the impression that the Trump voters came out in droves and the Democrat voters remained fairly similar. But it looks like I'm off.

Am I reading this right? It looks like Trump received a very slightly higher number of votes as last election, but Harris got 10 MILLION fewer votes than Biden? How does a party just lose more than 10% of its vote in a single election cycle?

I'm curious what percentage of the popular vote is in. Are there still outstanding votes being counted?
