I have the LG VX 6000 Color Camera Phone that I got for $149

Did you have to sign up for a 2 year plan to get the phone for that price? Also, do you have to pay the 4.99 to send any pictures or can you just upload them to your computer for free? Any info on that phone would be appreicated, since i'm thinking about getitng one. Thanks. :beer:

Yes I did sign up for 2 years... I love their service though, gets great coverage for my area which is the SF Bay Area and the East Bay. Uploading pics to the computer is fast and free and the $4.99 is for sending unlimited text and picture messages. I love my phone!

It's NOT a tax, the company charges it, and pockets it. It's not going to the government, folks. Why don't they tell you that your $40 plan is actually a $42 plan? I HATE that kind of crap.

I don't have a camera phone. I could get unlimited text messaging (no pictures, obviously) for 2.99 a month on Verizon, but I just have the "10 cents to send" plan. On average, I send about 10-20 messages per month, so I'm way ahead.

Verizon offers various deals for text messaging at different times. By buying the deal right now, you gain access to the future deals. If you do not sign up for any text messages, it is 10 cents to send and 2 cents to recieve w/o pictures. The $2.99 deal is awesome... I do over 200 a month...
