Those of you with Verizon's America's Choice plan: how much did you guys get your phones for? Are there any rebates or anything out there that you could hook me up with?

I'm gonna truly miss Nextel. We recently cut off our Nextel service to go back to T-Mobile. Only due to cost. Otherwise Nextel is a fantastic and awesome carrier.

currently using a motorola v60i. i wanna get rid of this phone - it's a good phone, but i want a color one. MAYBE the LG one, we'll see. my contract is up around thanksgiving, so i'll be looking for a new phone around then... maybe i'll go hit up the asian stores again. :D the phone cost me only 50 bucks at the time.

verizon did send me a thing in the mail to get 400 anytime mins at the same rate, but that required signing a new contract, so i passed. I don't even use 100 mins a month right now.

Yup, I have the 400 min. plan for $39.99, wit da v60i.

i used to have Sprint service with a Samsung SCH-3500 phone. both sucked. my family recently switched to AT&T (gsm). at first they gave me a Sony Ericsson T300. i didn't like it either, so i took it back and they gave me a Nokia 3595 (both were free). the nokia is an excellent phone, and at&t's service is very good where i live. my family has one of the national plans available on their website, cant remember which.

You really pay 2 bucks a minute?:Q

Heh the b and the s were bolded for a reason. My first phone was a Motorola Microtac with a 28 cent a minute plan. I have a Samsung SPH-I300 palm phone these days with a Sprint 4500 minute anytime family plan.

Cingular Preferred Nation (TDMA)
500 anytime
5000 nights & weekend
Rollover/free LD/standard junk

Great coverage everywhere I've been, and I have around 1000 rollover anytime minutes. This is a good thing because most of those minutes accumulated when I was at home and now I am college and this is my only phone, so I'm on pace to use a few more than 500 anytime this month :). 2 phones for $60/month

Waiting for GSM and the Samsung S307, and the more minutes that come with it :) I've heard October it might launch in TX..
