Fresh good quality bread (not supermarket stuff)

warm under grill so that the cheese soft, but not melted. 😀

18 oz ribeye steak
salt
pepper

get steak out of fridge
wash and pat dry the steak with paper towel
put on dish
sprinkle salt and fresh ground pepper
let sit for 1-2 hours to bring the steak completely up to room temp. steak must not be cold straight from fridge; middle will be too rare/undercooked.

4-6 on the other

To make tasty nachos:
- bag of plain tortilla chips
- can of refried beans (spicy jalepeno is best)
- cheddar cheese

1. preheat oven 325-350 degrees F
2. On a baking / cookie sheet, place a layer of chips, add slices of cheese, spoon on refried beans. Optional: add more chips on top
3. bake about 8 minutes

You can add salsa or meat (canned or deli chicken bits, etc.) but I think it's better plain.

squeezing about half a lemon into the mix will help the flavor also.

Frozen chicken breast, throw on Foreman grill, cook the breast until juices stop flowing. Cut up the breast, throw into pan with frozen vetables (buy them cheap at the grocery store, I perfer the kind with broccoli), cook on medium until vegtables are tender, throw ontop of rice, add favorite terekai sauce.

Cheap, fast, and delicous chicken bowl. Shouldn't take more than 15 mins to make, if you preheat the foreman and defrost the chicken.

A lebanese dish with a hypersonic5 twist:

Crispy Zaatar

Zataar is an arabic thyme mixture that has sesame seeds and sumac in it. You can find it in places like farmer's markets and armenian grocery stores.

Ingredients:
Zataar
Virgin Olive Oil
Pita bread

Mix the thyme mixture with the olive oil. Then spread it atop the pita bread kind of like a pizza. Put it in a toaster over and wait til it gets crispy. The oil should start boiling, which should alert you to about the time it is finished. It should be crispy. Enjoy.

Chocolate covered strawberries

Ingredients:

The best strawberries you can find
Ghiardelli chocolate chips
Grand Marnier or Chambord

Tools:

needle and syringe (the pharmacy will sell you one, tell 'em what it's for)
pot to melt chocolate
wax paper

Wash strawberries thoroughly. Let dry.
Inject with about a cc of liquor... 2 ccs if the strawberries are large
Dip them carefully in warm melted chocolate
Set on wax paper to dry
Refridgerate

Mmmmmmmmmmmm

Mix a can of french onion and cream of mushroom.

Pour it on 6 chicken thighs in a glass pan, add potatoes, carrots, and celery for veggies, and bake @ 375F for about 90 minutes. Might want to keep it covered for the first 60 mins.

with all do respect, no on the lemon sir. the acid from the lemon will precook the steak or atleast the outside of it. If i am in a rush or want more flavor, i just use pappy's seasoning or some garlic and herb seasoning. I never use lemon on steaks, especially if its a nice ribeye; they have a lot of flavor already and are good if cooked to med-rare.

I am more of a dry rub person when it comes to flavoring steaks.

You can use some worchestershire for when you eat it, if you like.
