Some of that crap gets so annoying. things like l337, etc. (although I think l337 is funny sometimes, just an example)


The ones I hate the most are

Bah

and

w00t

I have a friend that uses those so much online, that now it is how he speaks in real life. Every time he says Bah or W00t I want to kick him in the balls and then beat him to death...

Well, I don't really hate internet lingo, when it is in fact on the internet.

However, I do find myself using "owned" in day to day speech now, and *shudder* NEF is used to play with my baby sister...

baby: *cute laugh* nef!

baby:*cuter laugh*mmmr~nefnef!

Actually, I hate (I mean really despise) that L33t crap. Don't know what it is, but I see people chattting with that "alphanumeric" code thing there, and it makes me want to scream. If you want to impress me, converse in binary. :D

but actually hearing someone yell 'woot' in real life after getting a strike is about the lamest thing I have EVER heard.... ahhhhh made me want to cut hishead off and put it the ball shine machine

I don't know if this is Internet lingo, but I can't stand when people write "prolly" instead of "probably," and "proggie" instead of "program." What's with the baby talk? You're not a first grader.

And I also HATE the l337 and hax0r crap also, when someone is REALLY using it, serioulsy thinking it is cool, when someone is using it as a joke, to make fun of it, I think it is funny

Kat...you use "brb" in day-to-day speech, as in:

*on telephone* "Hey girl, I was talking to this guy and-*bee-arr-bee*, I got someone on the other line, 'kay?"

(note: "bee-arr-bee" was just the phonetics...)

Err...geez..well, I'll be hearing this in February...so I'll hold you to that in Canada :D
