At what age was "baby" Jesus baptized? That should be a logical enough answer, at least for most Christians.

That is just what the rest of the Christian community believes, not a big deal.....
It's not a big deal when the pope reverses a centuries held belief on a whim in order to convert more people to catholicism? I guess he can start striking down the 10 commandments and all us 'party people' can finally become catholics.
ALso, like I posted in the SA post, how can the pople DIRECTLY contradict a previous pope who is considered infallible (when speaking with the authority of the office)?
has a previous pope ever actually addressed the issue ex cathedra?
If it doesn't directly say in the bible that babies go to limbo (see a few posts above) then the logical assumption would be that the pope, whom when speaking ex cathedra is infallible, said that it was so.

Apparently, there is none. Unbaptized babies are automatically in heaven and a deathbed plead-to-god gets you in so.....

Jesus was baptized when he was an adult

So that means babies don't go to heaven since they can't really be baptized until they are adults (or else Jesus could/would have been baptized as a child), and one must be baptized in order to enter heaven.
Note: I'm not implying that they go to some mythical fiery "hell" either.

Unfortunately, magomago, logically, you aren't the one that makes those rules in any case. Logically, God can do anything He wants to.

how do you know that magomago is not god posting here? how do you know t his is not what God wanted? or planed?
it would amaze me that God would not allow a child to go to heaven because they did not have time to baptise it before he died

Um, I don't have to prove anything to you. If you believe there is a God though, logically, you can't possibly think that He should align Himself with your opinions... That was my point. As for proving God, I see Him everywhere, in everything. If you don't, then how do you explain all this? It just "happened"? It is some accident? I have heard of too many awesome things to believe that this is all chance. The mere existence of love is the biggest clue that life isn't the result of a random explosion, I don't see how anyone who has been in love could think otherwise.

I figured this was your point. It is your opinion and I respect it. I believe the exact opposite of you, however.

Cool. And off topic (is that possible in ATOT???), I love it when we can disagree without all the flames. I've never said anything in P&N and gotten this kind of response. 🙂

As for God allowing children to go to hell, you obviously haven't read the thread. I was addressed like 5 times or something. I am not telling you my opinion, just what the Bible says. God is His word literally, He cannot be separated from it, so if He says something, it isn't up for debate, and He won't go against it.
