I usually vote for Republicans, as long as they don't say stupid things, well they do say stupid things, like all politicians. Anyway, there is a line some where on the stupid meter, for me. The Tea Party members have crossed the line too many times.

Are you on crack?

As long as I can walk, talk and make use of my hands there is no way I am going on disability.

If nothing else I would build and sell bar-b-que pits from my home.

I meant for your mental issues, not physical.

Even a smart Democrat must certainly understand by now, that if they intend to run their 2014 campaigns on Obamacare, they might has well hand the Senate over to the Republicans. The people who still want Obamacare are as low of a percentage of the overall constituents, as the President's approval rating, meaning most of Americans don't want the ACA or this President. That will impact the midterms and when the Repubs take the Senate, the victory will be largely weighted on the disdain for the ACA. Getting the likes of Harry Reid out of the Senate will be like giving America a vacation.

A vacation from what?

This was the argument we heard last fall during the presidential elections. In the end the Republicans lost the presidency, 2 senate seats and 6 house seats. Why would you think it will be different in 2014 or 2016?

Different because people are getting a taste of the ACA and don't like it. Most Americans no longer support it.

In 2008; people believed in the BS that Obama was spewing; change and transparency.
In 2012; people were still believing - lesser of two evils.
Then in 2013; Obama's imperial cloak was revealed to be transparent; showing his incompetence in leadership; telling the truth, waffling and then show to be outright lying to the people.

People vote with the wallets; and their wallets are going to be hurting. They can not punish Obama; but by proxy, they can punish those that allowed such to happen .

There are going to be a lot of people whose wallets will benefit a lot from Obamacare too. They will punish those who try to take it away.

Will the Republicans be able to buy campaign ad airtime on the networks Obama controls and tells what to do?

You guys never give up the conservative religion, I'll give you that. In a few years the ACA will be as firmly a part of the American social contract as Medicare or Social Security, two things that the American right denounced as Communism/Fascism/Evil Incarnate before growing to love.

The day that I'm going to find funny is the inevitable day that Republicans accuse Democrats of trying to undermine the Affordable Care Act the same way they switched on Social Security and Medicare. I promise not to tease you too much when that day comes.

People are obsessed with the day to day polls and politicians. Important thing to me is the policy. We are finally reforming health care. That is important. Whether Landrieu or Prior are still in the Senate in 2015 is secondary to that.

This did not reform anything. You are fucked in the brain if you think this fixed anything.

It just socialized the health insurance industry.

Yes. Responsible journalism reports on everything. Haven't you noticed how NBC, CNN, ABC & MSNBC are pretty much absent on any issues that concern the President's dishonesty to us when it comes to what we've been told about Obamacare? These media outlets are either controlled or they have no balls. How is it that someone like Judge Jeannine Piro calls out all the president's shortcomings and actually reports the truth, but the others won't? I can't draw any other conclusion, except that they are either controlled or ball-less?

Your right...nothing's changed. I'm thinking the Dems will take even more seats once everyone sees first hand how good Obamacare is!

Last I checked health insurers were still privately owned and profitable.

except for the fact that government tells them what coverage then can offer. How much profit they can make. How much they can charge for different ages. Etc etc.

This is simply a baffling denial of reality. I seriously don't know what planet you're living on or how completely lost in the right wing media bubble someone would have to be to think that NBC, CNN and ABC have not been reporting on this.

I don't know what to say when someone tries to tell me the world is flat. You would be well served to actually try reading and watching those media sources instead of listening or watching whatever nonsense gave you this bad info.
