POLL: Your Bittorrent Client of Choice

My vote goes to ABC, but I wanna see what most people who know something about computers use. And please people, let's be civil, no bashing clients, just say what you like about yours.

I'm sure I might've missed a couple clients, but I tried to get most of the popular ones.

defentaly azures but with my ISP becomming more noisy on what i'm doin with my bandwidth i'm turnning more toards newsgroups

It's spelled "Azureus"

I think most of us don't mind using Azureus even though it's a system resource hog because we have an old system to dedicate to Azureus..

I use Azareus, but I haven't tried any of the other ones. That one does what I want it to do, no need to change.

bittornado is faster than azureus for me so that's what I use. I wish bittornado has azureus' features though 🙁

Spelling fixed, and it's worth noting that ABC is based on Bittornado, it just has a better interface, especially for multiple downloads.

For those that have used both Azureus and ABC, just how much more of a resource hog is Azureus over ABC? I was considering a switch, but I dunno if I want to yet. Last time I tried Azureus on my Thinkpad T30, it seemed pretty slow.

Used Azureus for a while, but the resource hogging and somewhat spotty performance led me to try ABC, which I like a lot more.

depends on how many torrents you have going, their speed and what version of the JRE you have

ive used almost ALL of the ones listed and Azureus has the most options and is fastest when set up right and has the best interface, i was useing ABC and and Shadows before Azureus, when i switched Max Dl speeds went up 200k/s i can now top out a torrent @ 350 k/s, with ABC and Shadows id be lucky to get 50k/

most ive seen azureus eating is 200 megs when dling 9 torrents @ ~ 60k/s each, but then again all other clients exibit the smae issues

have used original, shadows/bittornado, g3, abc, ptc, azureus.
sticking to azureus unless something better comes along.
java is eating up ~230mb with ~200 torrents open.

i have torrent storm and G3 Torrent.

i should start using azeurus but that one hogs my computer up.

using bittorrent crashes my cable modem or router. not sure whats up.

i love azureus, been using it. was using original bT client, didn't like as much and wouldn't port forward correctly either.

Azureus but I've stopped using Bittorrent because my school is blocking it. Oh well, at least I still have Soulseek.
