I know it would mean the government getting way to personal but think of the money we'd all save...

No more Crack babies.
No more Teenage pregnancies.
No more worthless parents that have 5 kids that really cannot afford even one.
No more of a lot of things... they say driving is a privilege not a right, so why is pregnancy a right??

That sounds like something that the Nazis would do or have done.

so does public education... simply saying the nazis have done it, is meaningless.

I do not think that is a fair comparison.

The Nazis did some pretty horrible things, even considering the dark points of American history.

I do not think that is a good comparison.

Even considering bad things the US has done, the Nazis were pretty horrible.

Start from the other end.

Wanton acts of stupidity warrant revocation of breeding privlidges.

I like this idea!!

And it's not like it'd be hard to enforce. The folk who deserve such "treatment" usually get that status through something that winds them up in some form of custody, whether it be criminal or medical. Just give 'em a general anesthetic, slice, squeeze, snip, sew, and you're done.

i don't see how it's not a fair comparison. "nazis did some pretty horrible things", this much is obvious (i'm not sure what relevance that has though), i'm just pointing out that simply saying that a concept is similar to one that the nazis implemented is not saying anything of significance. public education is an example of such a case.

if we execute such a plan, who will work at mcdonalds?
who will join the unions?

i beleive a better approach is that when the biotechnology is available, make all babies get the intelligence upgrade gene pack mandatorily. then we can turn them into linux boxes...

if i were in command, i would only allow people with favorable genetic traits to breed. thus creating a better suited form of humans thru controled breeding

I think you've nailed it!

And to all those who say that Nazi, Germany did something similar to this, so fvcking what!!! Yes they did and maybe they were on the right track!!! So maybe they did things the wrong way and killed a bunch of people that doesn?t make the basic premise flawed or wrong. So please quit using the Nazis and an excuse to let people do things that are harming society as a whole and give me a real reason why this is a bad idea!!

Coolness

Crack moms need to be locked away for child abuse for having given birth to a child addicted to drugs. Hopefully they will have an accident in prison

What will we do about the educated, middle class folks who produce offspring like the Columbine killers?
