Whats the deal with this "Will AMD survive" crap? This is the second thread questioning AMD's survival. AMD has changed significantly since the last time its survival was in question, socket A is dead, that piece of garbage athlon XP is gone and has been replaced by a far superior product. Sorry for those that liked that hot, exposed core, vulnarable, slower than the competition chip, there was nothing really going for it except price. Now they have a product thats cooler than intels, more overclockable considering they are still on 90nm, and faster at a lower power usage.
Of course they will survive, companies are a lot more robust than many think, they survived simply making copys of what Intel had for many years, and they will keep on surviving.
