The VP's job is to discourage the assassination of the President by being a worse option, and to pull votes during the general that might otherwise not have been pulled. I personally have never met anyone that voted for a President simply because they liked the VP and would have abstained otherwise, but apparently people believe that is a thing. Might even be able to back it up with numbers, I don't know, but it is hard for me to fathom that kind of logic.

True. Lloyd Bentsen vs Dan Quayle in 1988 showed VP picks mean jack shit.

On the other side, I think Palin hurt McCain quite a bit. And What's his name didn't do shit for Hilary, probably hurt her a bit too.

Hahaha.....pick anyone, won't matter. There isn't going to be a Biden administration.

Hey, remember how conservatives told liberals in 2016 about the dangers of hubris? That works for everyone, you know. Especially when most of the polls would have Biden winning by several points. Nothing's set in stone, and 2020 is definitely not the same as 2016.

So? I never mentioned Trump, besides which he's an idiot. None of that improves AOC, or makes her look better by comparison. I'm sure she's much brighter than a potato, but that's not a ringing endorsement.
It just makes her more qualified. Smarter and a decent human being.

The idea of Katie Porter getting into the White House makes my pants get tighter. Woman is all kinds of badass.

AOC is 15 years away from being ready for the job she has.

Most of Congress spends their days dialing for dollars. They are telemarketers....
So what is it about the "job" she has that is so special, and requires a person to be 45 years old?

The requirements are:

-Rich
-Old
-White
-Male

Not necessarily in that order, though.

Pundits seem to think it boils down to 6: Warren, Bass, Duckworth, Witmer, Rice and Harris.

I think Biden will pick this week, maybe a day or two.

Who will it be?

I just saw a headline saying he already decided, he just hasn't announced it yet.

That's... not what they're talking about. Man, that snide comment on the end is extra funny when you can't even follow a conversation. LMAO.
Let me see... LMAO. In your case I think this means "let me antagonize..." I just don't get who O is.

I wanted Val Demmings or Susan Rice but looking more like Harris. I thought AG would have been good fit for Harris but Demmings can fill that role. There will be a lot of Trump stench to disinfect.

Okay so there are some things that are true and inconvenient to accept so I’ll say it.
Many of the choices floated don’t “look the part” as in they don’t look like leaders. I know this is unfair to say and likely a great leader gets skipped simply because they are short or ugly or have a weak voice and so on. Looking the part is very important because winning is by far the most important goal.
That said I think it should be Rice or Harris or the woman whose name I forgot.
I know the above statement is deplorable. I know the above statement shouldn’t be used for any other position except maybe the communication director. I know the above statement should never be used in a business or school recruiting.
