MSNBC for news and commentary. Fox a little less.
I find it interesting that Fox/MSNBC has over 50% of this poll so far!

CNN up' till today. But I switched between NBC and CNN today, and noticed the 2 have very interesting content.

it's a tight race and among the major networks nbc has pulled ahead of abc.

"What about E.D. Hill?"

For some reason, I don't care for E.D.. She reminds me too much of my idiot neighbor. Strong willed, big mouth, not bad looking, but not very feminine.

I've been flipping between MSNBC and CNN. Also checking out Al Jazeera on the net though I don't understand a word of it.

My wife used to insist on watching local news in the morning, to catch the weather I guess. That lead into broadcasts by Katie Couric & Mat Lauer... ugh! But now that the war has kicked in, she goes straight to Fox... thank God!

Watching a little bit of all the major cable networks. Probably 40% CNN, 35% Fox, 25% MSNBC. I don't really watch the major networks unless something BIG happened. And we don't get the BBC with our pacakage, although I have seen it before when I had it back in college. It's good, but I think some people make it out to be this mythical pinnacle of TV journalism when it's really not that much different.

However, after eating a Mexican restaurant today I have to say I'll now be watching it more on Telemundo! My satellite package doesn't have Telemundo or Univision like I did on cable, but we do get it at the office and I have a TV tuner card setup on my secondary system. I used to watch that stuff all the time even though I don't speak a lick of Spanish. The Indian channels (which I do have) just aren't as entertaining.

i watch all three, depending on the coverage, early on a lot of fox since they had in the field, then msnbc, now a lot of cnn. i also try to scan c-span for foreign tv like the bbc/lebanese bc/ cbc as well as press conferences by the government. Although i prefer the network news from abc, nbc, cbs when they have their big 3 on, jennings, brokaw, and rather. cable still has a "cheap" feeling to it, especially fox. maybe it's their relaxed state with a coffee table, like those morning shows. Also, I have a hard time really respecting any of their newscasters with stupid questions and little jabs here and there (they just seem slick phony ganster style/unprofessional to me), so i watch them for their military analysis and in field reporting (except geraldo).

So far, the gen clark on cnn seems to be the most polished military analyst, of course i think rumors are he might be running for the presidency. But I hate aaron brown, with his fake gay soothing voice.

msnbc has a good show, but they don't get commentary by their military analyst constantly. it's used more as a battlefield report, not commentary on any situation. they need to pay schwarzkoff/mccaffrey the big bucks, to sit next to the reporter and give commentary, i guarantee that would bring in viewers, their current hillbilly marine just doesn't cut it, although the older gen guy is pretty good. maybe put chris matthews and schwarzkoff on the whole time.

I think it comes down to the fact that the cable channels really just report on military engagements (which all the channels will give the approximately the same information) and no/little political relevancy (the big picture), in contrast to the broadcasts which give a good balance in real time at the beginning of the war (now, they just appear during the news unfortunately). Also, the cable channels are looking for the scoop of the latest lastest development instead of trying to report the current situation.

as to the woman newscasters, i think the producers have their own fetishes. cnn is the brunnette, while fox is the blond, and msnbc is the strange.
