Even a pussycat in the office of Attorney General can have some real claws. It was thoughtful of the Don to constantly humiliate him.

Just be thankful Miller doesn't have a JD. Otherwise he would be a shoe in to replace Sessions in this admin.

Why would that matter. Expertise in your field seems to be considered a liability in this administration.

We should all take a moment to remember that the reasons Trump is so mad at Sessions are fundamentally that Sessions has not used the powers of his office to defend Trump from criminal investigations and Sessions has not used federal law enforcement to attack Trump's political enemies.

In a sane world Trump would have already been impeached for this, but here we are.

If it was purely Trump's call I would agree. I think even the GOP controlled Senate would take exception to a non-lawyer being AG.

Although I may be overly optimistic.

Probably a dead man pool, like Kelly has with the two other assclowns. One gets fired the other two leave.
Smart move in the Trump WH

That would not be smart, since Rosenstein and the SG would be running the Russia investigation if Sessions resigns or gets fired. If Rosenstein is fired, SG would be the last one left standing.

At this point, if Sessions were to resign/get fired, liberals would celebrate for like 2 seconds until Trump replaces him with Kris Kobach.
That is pretty much correct. At this point Sessions is trying to save what left of his honor and I applaud him shoving this back in Trumps face. He's grown some b*lls to save what's left of his reputation and I think the Justice Department is flexing it's "We are an independent agency muscle". Trumps going down.

I think you are correct. There are some, though few, limits to the stupidity that the senate will accept. The bar is pretty low, but having an actual attorney as AG seems like a no brainer; especially considering the number of attorney's in the senate.
