Mueller has the authority to access any material that is relevant to the scope of the investigation. That does not mean that information gained will be shared with the public.

well then he should ask for Trump's birth certificate. Then ask for the long form bc. Then news reports and hospital records (from GMS clinic in Moscow, obviously). etc.

He should do exactly what he is supposed to which is to investigate and act as he should.

I get your frustration but at some point we have to stop wanting to get even. The guy who shot the senator wanted that and our nation is slipping in his direction more each day. Yeah we can say that Trump or the Republicans are to blame, but as far as the shooting goes it's always the guy who pulls the trigger who is at fault. Someone has to be the adult in the room and let the law work or we might as well all take up arms against each other as we did a bit over 150 years ago.

Someone might say "the Republicans", well yes the Republicans. They still hate Hillary and Obama beyond all reason, or enough of them do. They'll whine and complain but we can't become like them unless we are pretty good with weapons.

I used to think this hyperbole but there is a possiblilty of an armed insurrection but not for a goal of self determination vs the end of slavery, but a great hatred finding an outlet in death and destruction.

Our current situation is not tenable so we will pull back or advanced towards violence unless something changes. In the meantime I don't want to poke that bear and so I'll wait for people like Mueller to do ther job without taking up that stick either.

I like that you are one of the 2 or 3 remaining stable people around here. Even my jokes must be taken seriously. :(

If the middle class continues to erode, it isn't a possibility , it is a certainty

uh oh, more trouble for Sessions, sounds like he lied under oath yet again...

"Lobbyist for Russian interests says he attended dinners hosted by Sessions"

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2017/jun/15/lobbyist-russian-interests-jeff-sessions-testimony

Uh, isn't the first sentence of that article more disturbing?

An American lobbyist for Russian interests who helped craft an important foreign policy speech for Donald Trump has confirmed...

Where is Adam West when we need him?

I think with his dementia at such a progressed state, he should seriously consider it.

Well said, sir. Unfortunately I see no promise of sanity from either side anytime soon. Hate sells, and people don't nominate the likes of a Hillary or Trump if sanity is near at hand.

So what? You are comparing Chuck Schumer's level of sanity with Trump's level of sanity? Or Sessions? No contest, Trump is definitely not sane.

The "both sides" argument is just not correct.

The little dipshit takes it back to the days of Reefer Madness. Unfortunately he wants to try to drag the Country with him. We can only hope that his lies catch up with him and he is sent back to the rat hole in Alabama that he came out of.

KK Keebler is heavily supported by for-profit prisons. Every petty crime conviction and jail sentence is money in the bank. Of course he's going to demonize pot and push for heavier crimes. It pays the bills.

Maddow officially puts Sessions on death watch.

Also noted... She refers to him as Jefferson Beauregard Sessions The Third. Lols.

It's funny because the guy is racist AF.. His name sounds like some KKK Grand Vizier. So he tries to tone it down with just Jeff Sessions. I go out of my way to use his full name and so did she.

Wow.

Torn on this. Sessions is horrible, but I can't trust that Trump won't find someone even more untrustworthy.

Sounds like the #2 man needs to watch his back too.

Sessions is as horrible as Trump could get through the Senate, and that was during the honeymoon before all the Russian stuff exploded. If he fires Sessions now to nomimate a puppet, effectively he would be asking the Senate to vote to be accomplices in his obstruction.

Listen to that audio about how he thinks the FBI director should operation. Scary shit. This man shouldn't get another appointment approval until all the dirty laundry is aired out.
