POLL: What was your FAVORITE home game console and what game?

Sega Genesis w/ Super Tecmo Football.

I once played that game for basically a whole week straight.. Beat the game like 5 times over 🙂

NES with Tecmo Bowl, Baseball Stars, Mario 2 and 3, Rampage, Faxandu and the Castlevania series.

Oops, can't forget Metroid! (and Excitebike, and RC Pro-Am.)
 
SNES was my favorite. Chrono Trigger, Zelda, Street Fighter 2, Final Fantasy 6 being my favorite games. NES was great too - ExciteBike, Zelda, Arch Rivals Basketball, NES Playaction Football, Metroid, Tecmo Bowl, etc.
 
NES was my favorite system by far (Come on...there was *nothing* else at the time)

But the game I've liked best out of all I've ever played is "Pirate's Gold" for the Sega Genesis...the saddest thing in the world is that I can't find a ROM for that game these days...
 
NEO GEO -- Way too expensive, but so many quality games (especially fighters). Some of my favorites: Last Blade 2, KOF99, Metal Slug, Shock Troopers 2, Waku Waku 7

SNES had the best RPGs, though (Chrono Trigger).

Honorable mention to NES (Tecmo Bowl).
 
Genesis ruled baby! Revenge of Shinobi, Shinobi III, and the cream of the crop in action games... *drum roll.........* GUNSTAR HEROES!
