Yeah, while they're busy ignoring the "inane" things she says...

This forum is made up predominately of young people and to hear young people so jaded and so cynical about love and about women in general breaks my heart.. I try whenever possible to give a woman's POV in a light hearted manner but sometimes..men just need to get thumped in the head before they get it!

It doesn't need to be expensive,in fact it doesn't need to cost a
damn thing other than a bit of your time and some of your leet skills to show somebody you love them!

Some of the best and most romantic gifts I've ever gotten probably didn't cost more than $5..I give up on you guys!

I put food on the table(work full time) nearly go to school full time, do things around the house, buy my wife things for no apparent reason just because I see them and think she might like it. Why should I be subjected to yet another hallmark holiday? Do we need another day out of the year to show this or is it just for the people that spend the other 364 DOTY not showing and thus have to make up for it....

The point is, that it needn't cost much at all and if you're with a woman who makes you feel guility for not spending huge sums of money,then you're with the wrong woman. I like simple stuff that's from the heart and so do most of the other women I know.If I want fancy jewelery I can buy it for myself.I can't buy myself some fool climbing the trelis singing me some song he wrote or other such romantic,fun stuff
