Its really just a stupid fashion accessory when it comes right down to it, just like those thong underwear. They're popular, so people get them there because thats the popular place to get them. They are a bit much IMO, but its not like I personally think tattoo = slut right away. They're kind of sexy...but they kind of make me wonder about the girl, and fact that its such a sheep thing to get one and one there doesn't really speak positively of her.

I think men on the other hand get tattoos mostly just to look more intimidating.

Either way in both female and males tattoos are a "look at me" accesory... the man one I think you have the modivation behind it....why someone would want to look intimidating unless they made thier living from boxing or bouncing I have no idea... Anyway why take a pass on the women modivation? Chicken.

From what I understand (from acquaintances who have been on the inside) ... these lower back tattoos have their origins in prison life ... they would be worn by inmates who were the 'property' of another inmate. If/when a group tried to 'get them' they would see the tattoo and realze that they were treading on the 'property' of whomever the marking represented.

So, folks who get these tattoos are actually aligning themselves with convicts whom choose to become the property of 'Big Joe' and get marked up.

I guess if I were going to choose to identify with a particular group, I'd definately choose a different one.

Mines Just one opinion to add to the 157 others... ... "eschelon" has nothing to do with income or tattoos... there are low class millionaires and prison inmates...it's all about comportment and integrity at the end of the day.

The only time I ever saw a tattoo on a girls lower back was when i saw a stripper or a porno, so I instantly associate the girls I see with these type of things with that...

Maybe that is the way it works in your dreams, in reality it's behaviour, not looks that makes a slut a slut.

One thing some of you morons need to realize is that some people get a tattoo because THEY think it looks good, not because she wants to fvck everyone at every party.
