Poll: Religion Preference?

I'm sure this has been done before but I couldn't find it. I'm just idly curious.

Vote away, and tell me if I missed one.

I think you should add the option "No Religion Preference." I personally consider atheism as a type of religion just which does not believe in a "God." I personally have no religion preference and do not consider myself a member of any of the choices that you have provided.

I disagree. I think "Atheism" is the "No Religion Preference" option up there. Atheism isn't a type of religion.

Technically, without proof that a god does not exist, it takes faith to believe that one does not -just like it takes faith to believe that one does. So athiesm can be considered a religion because it can be based on faith --just like evolution.

😉

Technically, I created this thread for a belief check not to start a flame war you spooge!

😛

But in answer to your statement, I believe that you are technically wrong. Atheism isn't believing in God's non-existence, but rather not believing in Gods existence and so defaulting to the alternative (God doesn't exist). This doesn't require belief or faith at all.

Nope Atheism is not a Religion

Atheism/agnostic, I don't "know" that there is no god, I can't prove there is no god. I just don't think that the "burden of proof" should lie on me.

Excuse me?
You list things like Deist and Pagan...
What happened to the other major religions?
-Confucianism
-Daoism
-Sikhism

BTW, beside the belief in a god(s)/goddess(es), what exactly is a deist?
