Poll: Nice guys don't get laid ?

I had some sex when I was nice guy. I had much, much more sex when I was indifferent to women. I never treated women badly, just indifferently. When I was attentive and sweet, most women had no interest. Once I turned them down and was in control they'd practically beg for sex.

Now I'm dating the most wonderful woman in the world so I don't have to play the game. I can be a nice guy and get sex all the time with a woman I love.

4) said hot girl becomes dependant on said Mr. Nice (still you), at which point the two decide on a girlfriend/boyfriend arrangement.
5) Now, said Mr. Nice gets action from said hot girl whenever the hell he wants, because said hot girl is under the impression that said mr. nice is also mr. perfect, and she worships him

this model works perfectly... almost. first of all there's the issue of getting "used equipment." if this doesn't bother you then you're good to go... but it does bother some people. also... when you get sick of the hot girl and are ready to move onto the next, she's not so easy to get rid of. she is dependant on you... she needs you in order to be happy... You're only chance of survival is to pry her away and run like hell. And then you've got the issue of being a nice guy and feeling bad for hanging the hot girl out to dry.

or you could just find somebody that you love who loves you also, then be happy with spending the rest of your life with a slightly less-hot, but still enjoyable partner. hot girls don't age well anyways (or so i hear).

It's all about intentions...if these are your intentions then you aren't so mr nice are you...
Nice guy would be helping her out without the intention of anything else...would you help this girl out if she wasn't hot or if you knew you would remain just friends with her?

When I was in school, I was considered a nice guy, and had no problem.

But there are guys who want to get laid by the girls who like jerks. Why, I don't know, but it might explain why some people agreed with your poll question.

You have to realize what type of board this is.

These people are used to deals where there are PM, MIR, and IR offers, complete with warranty.

It's a whole new world with women. They don't come with MIR or IR, no warranty, no instruction manual. PMS ain't all that great -- yes, the guy suffers too -- and if something goes wrong, you can't take her back.

Some techies view everything -- usually women, cars, bikes, etc -- as a different sort of computer-equipment-paradigm, or CEP. If you're just a CEP to someone else, you'll soon figure it out. Hence the "hand-me-down" mentality, or HMD. If you don't like it -- and I wouldn't either -- then just kind of smile and nod while saying "misogynistic bastard" and everything will feel better for you.

I hold the same standard for both. A guy who brags to me about the girl he had sex with last night doesn't command much respect in my eyes, neither does a girl.
