Trump also said the media was behind his supposed feud with intel. Wait a second did the media compare the CIA to Nazis???

whatever, it's more amusing than it is an actual issue (apparently this Trump cake is just a replica with only one layer of actual cake...which is also rather bizarre but ironically appropriate). I just hope this scandal doesn't get a -gate attached to it.

The article I read is the bakery is known for making replica cakes, someone said the Trump folks liked that one best and asked for it to be recreated. The baker did so and posted something on instagram(?) about it and some extra money was given to a charity.

That's what the reporter claimed, at least. I'll drop it given that it's not necessary as it is -- Sean Spicer just told a flat-out lie about this being the most-attended inauguration ever. Not even close to being true. And of course, this being Trump's administration, questions were not allowed.

And there's a big difference between spinning the truth to tell your side of things versus telling obvious lies and hoping no one will notice (or getting mad when people invariably call you out on it). One is politics as usual; the other is dangerous to a functioning democracy. Trump must be impeached and thrown out of office.

I think the reporter is just saying exactly what he said: "WH has set up crowd size pics in briefing room", no comparison to Obama's inaugurations mentioned. If he is saying what you think he is, then he's blatantly peddling fake news because those are the exact same images on each screen. Look at the stripe of blue to the right of Trump in the crowd, the one person in red to the right of that, the small red spot immediately above that, etc, they're the exact same photos.
