1GB (2x 512MB DDR400 Corsair) in an IT7-Max.

I can't justify spending another ~$200 just to go dual channel :/

If any of you want to purchase an IC7 and a 2.4C I'd be more than happy to accept the great gift, though. :)

Had a gig of crucial on one machine, did not make a difference over 512 for what I was doing, so I sold it.

desktop 1: 512 of micron PC2100
desktop 2: 512 PC2700 kingston
desktop in many boxes all over room: 2x256 twinX XMS PC3200 cas2 :)
File and webserver: 128MB PC100
firewall: 32MB EDO FP simms:confused:

192 in the laptop. The laptop has been sold, so 256 as soon as I get the replacement (cross trade), very soon afterwards going to 512

512mb at the moment....had the same in my last PC but that was PC2100 rather than PC3200.....my dad is probably gonna give me enough for christmas for another 512mb bringing it up to 1gb and Dual Channel....which will be a big bonus for my photo and video editing.

but my system became hella unstable....
was forced to take off one pc2100 256 mb ddr
still have one PC2100 512mb + PC2100 256mb = PC2100 768mb
any suggestion to fix to the problem?? is it true that 1gb is just too much for win xp since average users wont handle that many heavy applications at once???
