Yep. Non-commercial, too.

Military and private.

For work I was flying from L.A. to Vernal, Utah through Denver. The flight to Vernal from Denver was on a 12 seater with 6 rows of one-and-one seats. This plane had a combination steps/door. I was sitting in the front row. The co-pilot entered the plane last and pulled up the door. After securing the door he turned to me (one of four passengers) and said,

"Since you are in front, in an emergency, you are in charge of the door."

I looked around a little and, quite seriously asked;

"Where the hell are you going?!?" :Q

He laughed and said, "In an emergency, the pilot and I will be busy with other things."

I've never had a reason to leave Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey, and New York...

Therefore, never been on any airplane, commercial or not

You need a reason to do something fun, interesting and adventurous?

Your name is ironic.

I have never had the opportunity to fly at all. Mainly financial reasons-lack of money. Even trips over a couple of hours away by car were almost too expensive and that was when gas was $1/gallon.

The places I have been(up the east coast and into Canada) were by car with my father/step-mother when they went on vacation when I was a kid and let me and my sister tag along a couple of times.

I hadn't stepped on a plane once until about age 23 (when I got my job) in the 8 years since then I've logged about 100,000 miles. I enjoy flying, the blackberry gets no signal, I can chill out and read a good sci-fi paperback.

Ohh and having a long time between connections, that's just an excuse to sit at the airport
bar and mingle for 5 hours. I esp like the MSP Airport. Reagon totally sucks since you have check out of security and back in just to switch terminals.

This. Been around the world, literally. From the US to Australia. The US to Japan. The US to Iraq, a few times. From the US to Jabuti. The US to Honduras. A few other countries that arent that far. To and from Alaska to Tennessee many times, and various other smaller flights.

Being on an Osprey is very, very cool. Takes off straight up, then props tilt forward, and forward you go. Weird feeling.

My wife has never been on a plane. Some people just didnt travel growing up. We've driven to the beach a few times, but shes lived in the same place her whole life.

Of course. That's a bit like asking if you've ever been in a bus.

In fact, I've probably caught more planes than buses. I spend a lot of time floating between US/Aus/NZ/UK for work and personal reasons.

I work on something for the S-92. I've been hoping for some reason I'd get to travel down there and get a ride with them during a flight test! I don't think they do that though. I'd love to even see the thing in person.

There are more cool and witty people than people who have not been on a plane?

Interesting.

Yes, but have not flown in 10 years. I despise the treatment and lack of comfort (I NEED LEGROOM DARN IT!). Instead, I drive everywhere.

I've flown a handful of times. Still waiting for my first chance at a helicopter ride. Come to think of it I have never been on a train either.

voted no. not because i don't want to. in fact, i've wanted to fly for as long as i can remember (although not necessarily as a passenger, especially in a commercial airline). i just never had anywhere to go or the money to go there.
i came close a few times to flying for work but it always fell through.
