POLL: Greatest Star Trek Series of All Time?

They all pwn.

Except of course, Deep Space 9. Which could just as easily have been called "Days of Our Lives - IN SPACE!".

There were a few decent characters (such as Garak, Quark, etc.), but goddamn the majority of them just f*cking pissed me off.

I liked TOS, TNG and DS9, Voyager was OK but not compelling ENT just never got my interest. i tried watching it a couple of times and i never enjoyed it.

I loved TNG but think that Voyager was better...didn't like it at first but then I ended up loving the series.

I also loved TNG alot (heck, it's what I grew up with), but I find that DS9 has better longevity. After watching a TNG episode for the umpteenth time, you can basically recite the whole dialogue in your head. With DS9, I always find something I missed on a previous viewing, or some small piece of the puzzle that fits into the overall seven-season arc. When you think about it, DS9 was really one VERY long story, seven seasons in length! How cool is that!

EDIT: TNG just seemed after a while to be a mismash of unconnected episodes with a few "overall continuity" ones (e.g. the Klingon Civil War eps).

How can anyone say DS9? Sure, the last 4 seasons were good, but the first 2 were complete ARSE. Also, every episode involving those stupid bajorans and their leader biatch were sleepers.

Personally I liked those initial seasons. I enjoyed how the arc of Sisko being the Emissary was initiated in the first ep of the first season and was "concluded" (sorta) in the final ep of the last season.

It's like the writers were trying to make the series into one really long seven-season episode, and I find that really cool.

voyager cause of doc and 7of9. just LMAO at some episodes.

TOS ist just the best trash-scifi series ever made.
