How can anyone say DS9? Sure, the last 4 seasons were good, but the first 2 were complete ARSE. Also, every episode involving those stupid bajorans and their leader biatch were sleepers.

Have you seen the first 2 seasons of TNG and Voyager? It seems to be a star trek tradition that the first couple seasons of any new series suck, but they get a lot better later.

One of my favorite DS9 shows was when Sisko went back and interacted with both the plot and actual scenes from "The Trouble With Tribbles" from TOS. The producers of Enterprise have their own special problems because they have to create shows that are "historically" consistant with everything we (the audience) already know is yet to come. One of the glaring inconsistancies is the appearance of Klingons in both Enterprise and all the later series, compared with those from TOS.

Trials and Tribulations was an awesome episode when they were doing the 30th year stuff :) Much better then the Voyager one imho, although, was nice seeing Sulu again, and while orginally tim russ was not a vulcan iirc during #6, he was indeed in the background, so they could pull the tuvok bit.

With me, it's a tossup between DS9 and TNG, with DS9 edging out TNG a little; and Voyager only had moments. I love TOS for what it gave us, and some awesome episodes... and well, 2 seasons, and the verdict on Enterprise is still out, but it seems season 3 is normally the magic number... I know that's when DS9 began to kick ass.

As for the klingons... you have to admit, Worf's "We do not talk about it" sorta covered it; but there's a cpl of the ST books that hit on it too... something about dealing with 2 different enthenticities of klingons, and the "ridge" ones took power over those non-ridged. It's a TOS based book iirc if someone wants to read it.

Speaking of all of this... I need to see when season 4 of ds9 is coming out, it's the only full set I plan to buy of the Star Trek series.
