Here are some arguments I've heard so far against Gay marriage:
1. It allows for two 50 year old pediphile men to adopt a 12 year old boy.
2. If we allow gay marriage, then the population would decrease since it takes a man and a woman to reproduce.
3. Hey, we have equal rights, I can't marry a man and he can't marry a man. That's equal rights under the law.
4. Marriage is a Christian right, not a gay right.
5. Nothing will happen now, but two generations later, something bad could happen.
6. Slippery slope effect.
7. (From CA's Governor, Arnold, himself) "..There are riots in the streets, ... People will get killed."
1: There are background checks, and they are complete.
2: Allowing gay marriage isn't going to even factor into that.. at all, not to mention that's bullsh!t
3: What?
4: So non-christians don't get married?
5: I think we have a lot more to worry about in this country than some completely hypothetical nonsense with no grounding
6: Again, what the hell are you talking about?
7: A body builder turned movie star turned pseudo politician / mockery of everything has exactly what credibility?
8: I hope you have a gay son
