Never have and never will. I can't stand being around people when they're smoking. I just don't feel clean inhaling all that smoke. That's not to say that I don't have friends who smoke; I do, but I just have to stand some distance away from them when they do.

I just cannot understand why anyone would want to start smoking, knowing all the risks and hazards and all. Just doesn't make sense to me.

I don't smoke, I don't hold it against people who do (otherwise my friend count would be cut in half). While I do try to convince my friends and loved ones not to by pushing fact upon negative fact (even pictures). I won't be all militant anti-smoker person when I pass by some people smoking in a common area outside.

It's their choice and it's really not fair to badger them for smoking on their own time, and outside. If it pisses you off then close your eyes and hold your breath as you walk through the cloud (nevermind the fact that you'll look like a fool doing so). Remeber, you may have some nasty habits that piss people off too (I got a cousin who picks his a$$ lint without thinking about it. Now that's bad for my health. :disgust:

Nope, at $3-4 a pack, what kinda poor college student can afford it!

Though, here at the university, there are many smokers.

I did until recently. I hadn't smoked a while, and then I smoked an Ultra Buy Light (I normally smoked Camel Lights). LOL, what a disgusting POS of a cigarette, made me realize how much I needed to quit. I've been working almost full time lately, and I've been able to forego smoking by just drinking water and walking out in the sun when I'd normally be puffing.

Only been smoking for maybe a year. I look at old people smoking and I imagine what their lungs look like, and wonder if they could even run a block let alone a few miles. It's not worth it anymore for me, although I think it was before, when I was having anxiety problems.
