"Dying" in the medical sense is not dying in the spiritual one.Originally posted by: Roger
No and No, already been dead twice, trust me people, there is nothing on the "other side".
dying in yoursleep is alot less scarier then dying while you are awake! why do you think lethal injfecton are so popular vs hanging or being shot at???Originally posted by: troglodytis
i'll welcome death with open arms......later.
the only thing i fear is dying in my sleep, or when i'm drugged up or something. i want to be alert and awake. it would suck to miss the experience of dying.
Having religion definitely decreases the fear.Originally posted by: Spamela

who have such dread.

I have no religion, and I fear pain more then I do fear death, how's that?Originally posted by: Skoorb

Drugs alone will not help you to recover from Panic Disorder, it has done more harm then good in some client. Get plenty of exercise, fresh air, be socially active, and don't think too much.Originally posted by: Tinkerhell
I used to be afraid and think about it obsessively. It was part of my Panic Disorder. But every since I've been taking medication (Paxil CR) I don't think about it anymore. It stopped me from thinking irrational thoughts.

I started having panic attacks after my grandma died. It was always late at night...every night I felt like I was going to die, so I couldn't sleep and had to go to the doctor...they put me on paxil too. I was depressed also, and it didn't help the depression(been depressed since I was about 8 years old; I guess it's just the way I am.)...it did help me sleep though, but that's all it done for me.
