If Iverson continues his antics like he did at a recent Indiana vs. Philly game, then Iverson will never be a true NBA hero. I honestly have no respect for him. Not that I don't like him as a player, but I think players should be people that the general public, and kids especially, look up to. How can kids look up to a guy who cusses out a fan who's jeering him? Athletes have to be able to take a little bit of jeering and rhetoric in order to be truely respected as a 'good sport'. Larry Bird, Dr. J, and Michael Jordan are all true NBA heroes who've served their time not only as spectacular athletes, but as all-around players both on and off the court.
If Iverson ever expects to get his ring, he best fix his karma. Philadelphia may be winning games now, but his attitude will get him no where come playoff season.
