Iverson! - Bryant is a whiny baby who will never amount to anything close to MJ.

Go Blazers !

<< So, let your voice be heard. Who is the Best player in the NBA? >>

Chris Webber easily deserved to be MVP.

<< and his free throw form is better than ever >>

which isn't saying much :p

Nah, kidding, you're right - he's worked hard at it, and it must be tough since he's definitly not a natural. But he's definitly made progress.

iverson also has more freedom than kobe, hence all the 40 point games. kobe has to distribute the ball more and worry about everyone getting touches

Iverson? Bryant? If you ask me, they are both overpaid and overhyped selfish brats....what happened to the Birds and Magics of the game, true team players.......

Iverson takes a good 25-30 shots a night to get all those points that he does.

If Iverson continues his antics like he did at a recent Indiana vs. Philly game, then Iverson will never be a true NBA hero. I honestly have no respect for him. Not that I don't like him as a player, but I think players should be people that the general public, and kids especially, look up to. How can kids look up to a guy who cusses out a fan who's jeering him? Athletes have to be able to take a little bit of jeering and rhetoric in order to be truely respected as a 'good sport'. Larry Bird, Dr. J, and Michael Jordan are all true NBA heroes who've served their time not only as spectacular athletes, but as all-around players both on and off the court.

If Iverson ever expects to get his ring, he best fix his karma. Philadelphia may be winning games now, but his attitude will get him no where come playoff season.

No one plays through more pain and injuries than Iverson. No one plays with more heart than he does. When he gets knocked down, he pops right up.

And will you tight assed holier than thou give the kid a break? He's no Lower Merion suburbanite like Kobe. He grew up tough and had some serious teething issues when he joined the NBA. But he has matured a huge amount since then and is continuing to mature.

People take the Pacers comment way out of proportion- harrassed all game he responded like a human being and made an honest mistake. There wasn't any bigotry in what he said- just releasing some anger. Don't crucify him for something we all do.

I admit its not much of an excuse- but he's still growing up. 3 years ago everyone thought he would self destruct. But now he a co-captain of the Sixers and have led them to the BEST record in the NBA. Don't argue with results- they have the best record and NO team save the Raptors have a winning record vs them.

I think Bryant is more talented, but I love the way Iverson leaves it all on the court. Sure, he does try way to hard at times but it is fun to watch :).

The Answer is good, but if you actually read what Mark wrote, Kobe is definitely more complete. He can score at will, if he wants, but he also rebounds, dishes, and defends better than Allen. Iverson is exciting and fun to watch, but Kobe is just getting to be a great all around player. Wait until Kobe is 27 or 28, he'll be scary good.

late.

iverson needs his a$$ kicked. im no kobe fan (go spree), but the only reason that allen gets more steals is cause he plays the point. hello?! point will have the ball more so he gets more of a chance to get his 2.4 steals a game. then again iverson was sponsered on dc's nba2k1.
