<< Gladiator was too violent for me. >>

I find that BH was more violent IMO. See pple's leg get chopped off and mace in the face... Hmm.... Can't remember any from Gladiator. :(

both of these event were in Gladiator also, Remember both of these movies are based on war and vengence therefore it only reasonable for there to be violence, hence the R rating.

Both are very good films, but I would definitely have to say that Braveheart was a better film.

I dont see anyway how gladiator compares to braveheart. Gladiator was alright I guess, but braveheart was one of my all time favorites.

<< But have you senn Kenneth Branaughs Richard the III >>

the "St Crispin's day" speech was in Henry V, I love that movie and have it on DVD. I'd pick Braveheart over Gladiator because I liked the Scottish accents.

Braveheart. I liked the story better. I didn't like gladiator as much as most people seemed to have liked it. Don't get me wrong, it was a good movie. Just not in the league of Braveheart IMO.

Gladiator because I didn't like Braveheart's ending. Both are great, but I think Gladiator just a little more fun.

There was a mace in the face in Gladiator...first "ring scene" with Maximus, where he was going into the ring as a slave for the first time. The guy who pissed himself runs out of the dark holding area into the bright sunlight first, and gets a mace to the face. Fairly realistic looking.

Gladiator can't even touch Braveheart. Braveheart was non-fiction, was more dramatic and had better acting, not to mention Mel Gibson. Oh, and it made me cry. :(

Edit: Braveheart was DEEP. Gladiator was like a kiddy pool.

Braveheart was a lot better and it came out a in 1995, i think Gladiator is almost a copy of Braveheart in some respects.
