This debate has come up many times among me and my friends. So if you have seen both of these movies please take the poll.

oooooo... good one....

hmmm....

Army scenes in BH
One on one in G
William Wallace was a better character
cinematography in G

Both great....

...sorry can't choose

yeah but you got to admit the graphic and costume designs for gladiator were way better, and Maximus could kick Wallaces asses any time.

Braveheart
But have you senn Kenneth Branaughs Richard the III
If you can get through the Shakespear it has one of the BEST middle ages battle scenes "St Crispins day speech"

<< Gladiator was too violent for me. >>

Hence, the R rating. It is meant to keep the kids out.. 😀

Anyways, Vote goes to Gladiator. Although I think both movies are great!

i love em both, but i can watch braveheart over and over again... I can't say the same about gladiator though...

Gladiator by far!

Maybe it's because I took 2 years of Latin where the Teacher spent a lot of time on Roman history...but I never tire of watching it where Braveheart's second viewing was all I want.

Braveheart was most certainly a BETTER movie, but Gladiator has a much higher "replayability" factor.

Gladiator is just one of those movies that you can throw in and watch pretty often due to more action scenes, less "slow" moments, and some pretty exciting battles. Braveheart was pretty long and the "exciting" moments were further spread out.

Non Fiction is always more cool the Fiction............ BRAVEHEART but gladiator is still sweet.

Those War scene's are also way more cool then seeing just a couple dude's die.

Blood, guts, and tears at the end of these movies made both of them outstanding!!!...I go with Gladiator though.

Gladiator, but only probably because I have seen it more recently, if I had seen Braveheart recently I may have changed my vote.
