Charcoal pwns gas in flavor...but gas pwns charcoal in prep time and clean up. If you grill all the time, go gas. If you grill 5-10 times per summer, go charcoal.

I grill 3-4 times/week. If it's burgers/dogs it goes on gas. Anything else goes on lump coal. Even if it's just one steak.

Gas.

As long as you have a grill with 40,000 BTUs you can elimate most if not all of the differences in heat between Gas and Charcoal.

Lump charcoal on a Big Green Egg. Lump charcoal burns alot cleaner than briquettes/leave less ash so you don't have to clean up after every burn unless you do something like a 24 hour pork shoulder :)

Not everyone can afford $350 (for the lest expensive model) to $990 for a ceramic green egg bbq/cooker, but boy, are they sure nice! The Big green egg

Orgo I think it's called....Orgo Charcoal is THE BEST

It's organic, smells fantastic, and makes the BBQ demn tasty :D
