This should be a profound movie experience that Im looking forward too seeing. Yes it was a bad day for America, but we are ruthlessly smiting the evildoers so its time to enjoy a good flick and "remember the heroes".

Are you kidding? That was one of the worst films ever made, all of IMDB's bashing (of which there was a great variety) could not have possibly been enough, as that jackass is still making terrible films. Honesty, it received a good deal of disrespect for it's poor taste and historical innaccuracy. Wretched movie.

It's amazing how emotional I get when think about it..

I'll see the movie. Though I do not think I will go to the theater for it.

I'm extremely proud of the passangers and what they did. I hope the movie honors that.

I haven't watched movies for a long time, so no. It's going to be a manufactured tearjerker with lots of contrived speeches and acting, just a way to turn a quick buck. Same with that WTC Oliver Stone movie. Has it been long enough since 9/11 for people to recover? Sure, for a real movie (9/12/2001 is long enough if you are serious about making a real movie/documentary). For a blockbuster Hollywood flic? Who cares?

Hollywood is filled with too many uninspired rich fvcks.
No real artist.
No real talent.
No real creativity.
Just uninspired rich fvcks.

And I do agree with the above poster, I will be seeing Snakes on a Plane. Most original piece of sh!t to come out of Hollywood in a while.

I'm still split on it. I know they tried to get it as accurate as possible and that the families actually said they wanted the story to be told. However, at the same time I feel like it is too soon to make a major movie about Sept 11. Honestly, peoples emotions about the event may resurface because of the film and some poor dark skinned fellow is going to suffer because of some rednecks emotions.

I thought it did get bashed? I heard a lot of talk about how it wasn't even an accurate portrayal of what really happened. I don't know though, I never saw it.

i agree completely. rednecks will undergo the whole "kill all brown people" idea again, and that won't be good for a lot of people.

I want to see it but I would prefer to see it in my home so that I can cry and express my feelings in peace.

I just got back from it.

All I will say is that I left pissed off. Pissed off at terrorists. Pissed off at Islam. Pissedd off at our government for being seemingly unable to communicate and respond appropriately. I wanted to hurt someone.

I would say that reaction was common amongst the men in the theater. The women were silent or simply cried.
