I just ran across this by chance. I've got to post it. Don't take it serious, just have a laugh.

Actually no Zebo, some of us are grown-ups, and we don't have to refer to someone by the color of the their skin....

Op - Should there be any real surprise - or in your case belly laughs - that the same percentage of people that voted for McCain - would rather have Bush back in office than Obama?

Really? You are that surprised and amused?

Really?

Seems pretty much inline with who they voted for:

Who would you rather have as President right
now: George W. Bush or Barack Obama? If
George W. Bush, press 1. If Barack Obama,
press 2. If you’re not sure, press 3.
Bush ............................................................... 44%
Obama............................................................ 50%
Not Sure.......................................................... 6%

Who did you vote for President last year? If
John McCain, press 1. If Barack Obama,
press 2. If someone else or you don’t
remember, press 3.
McCain............................................................ 45%
Obama............................................................ 47%
Someone else/don't remember ....................... 8%

No shit. So why is this news? 'Cause Whoozyourdaddy is a buttplug? I guess that's good enough for its own thread, right?

OP, don't let the door hit ya in the ass on the way out. He won't be back and can't be back. Take all the fucking polls you want... It's not going to change and it's a stupid thread but I thought I'd post in it for fun.

I hope they take a million more polls and everyone in the entire country wants the lun back it won't change anything other then just how stupid americans really are. but I secretly hope they plant his ass back in... I'd love to watch the country slide into the shitter with bush riding it into the ground like he has done with every business he has touched. He has a pretty good record for fuck ups. I guess... one good thing would come out of it. David Letterman could continue with the stupid president fuckups... That was entertaining while it lasted and I'm sure the rest of the wold found it funny as well.

What was unemployment with Bush? How much did peoples incomes and net worth improve? Did they take home more money after taxes than before Bush?

The answer is low unemployment, net worth improved, stock market roaring and people paid less in taxes. That's what you call good times.

Was just reading an article today about people's net worth are going to take years to get them to where they were in the Bush years.

From 2000-2008, what was the only sector to have a net gain in employment?

But anyway, the reason this poll is pointless: President Bush hasn't been president for 11 months. Of course his approval numbers will go up, he hasn't had to do anything. Kind of the benefit of leaving your mess to the next guy...

Never mind that color nicks are often used to describe like individuals in popular culture, typically I'd agree with you as it takes away from this man as a individual but in this case it's to exactly put him in box and strip him of his uniqueness as an individual as being identical to Bush cause that's what he is.

"It's the Economy, Stupid"

The economy did really well under Bush. People want those good times back.

Quoted for outright fucking stupidity.

This poll doesn't surprise me considering ~50% of the people voted for this dipshit in 2004.

No that's not what you said but I don't blame you for not admitting it.

Yeah, he's the brainiac who said the best thing for the country was for McCain to win and then die shortly thereafter so Caribou Barbie could run the nation.

I wonder how many people missed Herbert Hoover after the first year of FDR's administration.

There's nothing surprising about this, except that anyone would think it postworthy. In American politics, 40% of the voters vote straight-ticket Republican even if they put the ghost of Mao on the ticket, while another 40% vote straight-ticket Democratic even if they had the reanimated corpse of Hitler on their ticket. It's the 20% in the middle who win elections.

Exactly, but then again the headline of "Republican presidential voters prefer Republican as president" doesn't really turn a lot of heads.

An even better indication is this.

Would you describe yourself as a liberal,
moderate, or conservative? If liberal, press 1. If
moderate, press 2. If conservative, press 3.
Liberal ............................................................. 18%
Moderate......................................................... 41%
Conservative................................................... 41%

Take a look at your own financial/wealth situation during the Bush legacy. Did it improve or get worse? I grew tremendously.

And now, for the first time in my career I will be making less money, less benefits, less bonus and net worth decreased in 2009 all while paying more taxes. Thanks a lot Obama.

I make more money today than I did last year and the year before that and the year before that. I also have less CC debt. The big difference? My house is about $40K under water. Thanks for the housing crash, Bush. (see how that works?)

How did your taxes go up?

what's obama fixed? the major problem last year was the housing market, which is just as fucked up as it was under bush. all we have done is throw money at the problem and keep creating this fake wealth. one day it will come crashing down. And we will be to bankrupt to continue throwing money at the problem.

Obama's tax increases.
